  1. How many

I'm extremely happy with my car. I'm 54, have bought 16 new Mustangs and at least as many other cars and trucks over the years. My 2015 Mustang GT Premium has the best quality of anything I've bought previously. I do have two minor issues: Occasional brake squeal (really loud!) for the first...
  2. Body panel alignment issues

Ahhh. I hadn't noticed the bubbling but that is water. It was raining lightly and I had just returned from driving the car.
  3. Body panel alignment issues

I started to post a comment to this thread sharing with the forum that my passenger door was rubbing against the edge of my fender. It caught my attention when I opened my passenger door earlier today and heard a squeaking sound, like something hard rubbing against rubber. Initially, it looked...
  4. How is the paint on the car?

No complaints here. Paint seems pretty durable with no pecks or chips yet (about 3K miles so far). Good luck.
  5. Animation of how the Ecoboost Engine Works

If anyone is interested in a 4-cylinder animation, this one is good: [ame=""]
  6. Animation of how the Ecoboost Engine Works

Thanks for pointing that out SloSnake. LOL, I didn't even bother counting the cylinders on the third one because at the top of the animation (and all the others, too), the headline says: "Add direct injection and a turbo charger to an already efficient 4 cylinder engine and what do you get...
  7. Animation of how the Ecoboost Engine Works

I noticed that the 3rd animation shows the crankshaft connecting rods spaced at 90 degrees instead of 180 degrees as is traditional on 4-cylinder engines. Is the 2.3L EcoBoost really using a crankshaft with 90-degree spacing?
  8. Love my new car ... But dang, this clutch and transmission is noisy

My clutch and transmission are quiet and very smooth. No weird noises of any kind. I couldn't be happier with mine. Good luck with yours. PS: Seems like the OP and most of the folks commenting that they have similar problems all have PP. I have the base suspension. Maybe that will help narrow...
  9. 2,610 Mile Update

See highlighted section in a screen shot of the owners manual below. In addition to what the manual says, one end of the belt guide (manual calls it a web guide) is attached to the seat by a fairly strong magnet. If the belt/web guide is used, you pull the magnet end of the leather strap away...
  10. Speed Dating Prank | 2015 Ford Mustang

Cool ...shot in my hometown of Dallas, too! Got to be one of the best prank videos, ever. So funny to see some of the guys tell her how to drive but at the end she has some of 'em giggling like school girls! Highlarious! Kudos Ford!
  11. 2,610 Mile Update

Thanks for the link MagneticMan. I with you, I prefer the big hefty guides. None of my previous Mustangs had or offered seats with leather belt guides attached to a magnet like on the 2015s. I foresee Ford changing this design soon by either eliminating the leather strap or strengthening it. It...
  12. 2,610 Mile Update

Last I heard is that Ford is working on a solution/TSB. Before someone else screams "there is a thread on this already!!!" LOL, here's a link to past discussion that will bring you up-to-date on this. I hope it helps. http://www.mustang6g.com/forums/showthread.php?t=13253
  13. Location of Washer Fluid Reservoir

You're very welcome. The Mustang Cobra looks great! I'm guessing it's also a 1979 with some exterior mods (center hood painted solid over the Cobra graphics, rear spoiler painted black)? Do you still have it?
  14. Location of Washer Fluid Reservoir

Even the 1979 Fox body Mustang had a low washer fluid warning system as part of its Information Center on the console. When the fluid was low, a red indicator lit up on the display. It is interesting that Ford no longer includes such a feature given that they now use display screens for...
  15. 2,610 Mile Update

That is an amazing story, thanks for sharing. Congrats on the new Mustang!!
  16. Speeding tickets...who's gotten them in there S550?

I just returned from a 400 mile round trip from Dallas to Austin. On the way to Austin, I went through at least 6 radar traps. With no issues. I always try to keep my speed under 10MPH over the limit. When the speed limit is 75 MPH, I limit my variance to just 5MPH over. I also never try to...
  17. 2,610 Mile Update

You're very welcome. Thanks for the comment! I see you're currently driving a 2013 Scion FR-S. Those are cool cars. What made you choose the 2015 Mustang? The V8? Styling? Other? Good luck on your order.
  18. 2,610 Mile Update

Thanks for the update on the brake issue. I remember seeing a thread about it on M6G a few weeks ago but haven't had time to keep up with it. Cool photo! So, you really went to the dealer to buy a Focus and ended up buying a Mustang GT Premium? That's amazing ...congrats!!
