The weather was perfect in the Dallas area this weekend so I detailed my car, took her out for a 2-hour spin, and took these photos. Race Red is really an intense red in bright sun but I think my camera did a fairly good job of capturing the color accurately.

I love my car, too. The things Ford got right, they really got right. Fortunately, that's just about everything. The few things they got wrong, they really got wrong, too. The most obvious of the things they got wrong are the panels. Misaligned panels should be the easiest quality issue to spot...
Ask them if they'd be interested in working as Quality Control inspectors at the Mustang Plant ...
My panels are in pretty good shape, however, as I posted previously in this thread, my passenger door rubs the foam insulation in the passenger side front fender. The door also just barely clears...
I have 3,200 miles on my 2015 GT with the 3.31:1 axle ratio, base suspension, and manual trans. I typically drive my car easy in 50/50 city/hwy, but occasionally will drive in a spirited manner. I consistently average 21 MPG.
I can vouch for that. Mustang #16 here. There is no way, by any objective measure, that a 2005-2014 Mustang GT is better than the 2015.
So, if someone is still hanging on to their Pinto and finds it meets the few needs that they have for a car, does it mean they can say the Pinto is better...
Cool post. Btw, if the 3% per 1,000 ft is correct, it would be interesting to see a drag race between the EB and the GT at 10, 662 ft. I suspect it would be quite close!
Dallas, TX has had 3 or 4 waves of snow and ice storms in the past 2-3 weeks. This is unusual for the Dallas area. If we do get snow and ice, it's usually just one storm and it melts in the same or next day. This time, I had several opportunities to experience the frozen stuff in my 2015 Mustang...
I owned an '85 T-bird Turbo 5-speed. It was a fun car to drive although the turbo lag was pretty bad. When the turbo spooled up, it was worth the wait as it would pull pretty hard. Had a great turbo sound, too.
I also owned an '89 T-bird SC (4-speed auto). Man, great engine and car. Instant...
Beautiful car, Smitty. Congratulations. I know you'll enjoy it for a long time.
I see you're on Mustang #13. I hope you don't mind me including just one photo of mine on your post showing my vanity plate :)

LOL, just checked out the link. That looks as though it was written by a 16 year old who doesn't have a clue what he's writing about. Really juvenile. The publishers of this junk must really be desperate for web page clicks.
Styling is subjective. There's no accounting for taste. Considering...
I agree with you re the 2010-2012 Mustangs. The back end was my least-favorite part of the car but I liked the rest of it so well that it was a net-plus for me. The appearance of the 2013-2014's back end looked even higher. I'm glad Ford has reversed this trend of tall back-ends with the 2015...
