The low battery message went away, but the pumps still won't prime. Used a portable jumper pack (12v/700a).
Wiring still looks fine. The relays do click when power on.
I checked the #49 30a fuse, the 2 20a relay fuses on the SLR harness, and those are good.
How am I supposed to check the...
Thanks I knocked the ring to the middle bump after tightening the bulkhead fitting. The fitting was very loose.
Got everything back together and now the fuel pumps won't prime lol... can't hear them, the relays do click.
Car will start and die immediately, guessing from left over fuel in the...
Will most likely try this instead of siphoning after reading some threads on here lol. https://www.mustang6g.com/forums/threads/my-stupid-move-for-the-day-any-fuel-tank-filler-neck-experience.64578/
When the car had about half a tank it never leaked. So hopefully too much doesn't spill out.
Thought about siphoning as much gas out with a pump...
Anyone know if all you need to do is stick the white plastic funnel (piece thatcame with the car) to open the flap, then feed a hose down? I just don't want to risk getting a hose or something stuck down there like a thread I just read...
Damn that might be a bit difficult, even if I did the fuel drain tune, it's going to leak from it while its running.
I cleaned a lot of it up. It's still slowly leaking from the bottom of the bulkhead even with the car off.
Same pic as I posted earlier, but I darkened it. I'm guessing this is the white plastic washer? I have a full tank too so I'm dreading removing the cage right now haha...
You're right... It is coming from the bottom bulkhead fitting that came on the modified hat/cage. I tried turning it both ways, but it didn't seem to help. Only tried about a 1/4 turn though. Do I need to turn the bulkhead more? Or is there a washer/nut underneath that got loose?
Had the car towed home.
Maybe the car really had more than 1/4 in it? And it was grossly overfilled?
Maybe something like this? https://www.mustang6g.com/forums/threads/fuel-system-issues.112579/#post-2388601
I've been driving the car for two days with zero issues, pulls hard, no codes.
2018 a10 - Sai Li kit with upgraded rails and PTFE lines, 1050x's, 100% e85
Went to fill up when I had 1/4 of a tank left, pre paid $15 got about 10.5-11 gallons. After fill up, I pulled into the lot to set up new...
Am I going to have any issues with the cross over hose like that?
The injector connectors were annoying...And the pressure sensor itself looks to be the same size as the open npt port on the slr rail so no adapter fitting needed, just need to extend the harness now. Wish it was on the same side...
Sai Li said this is the correct way to set up the rails. Yep you’re right Kona, the pressure sensor is supposed to go into the empty npt port.
And the harness does needs to be cut and extended...
