Since you guys were talking about the Mak inlet tube for the Procharger. Wondering if there is any solution/improvements to be made to the outlet hose, the one that is collapsed about half was to fit the head unit above the body sheet metal. I know it works the way it is, but can’t help but...
I’m sure you already know that every time you switch tunes or disconnect the battery the monitors reset and you have to start all over. Just a heads up in case you didn’t. This will be interesting, first user on here with the Edelbrok S/C and emissions testing. Crossing fingers that you get...
I’ve taken several cat naps during lunch hour in the front seat of mine. My problem is I keep waking up whenever I start to doze because gravity pulled my lower jaw open and my mouth dries out. First world problem for sure. I’m always eyeballing the trunk area, I’m going to give that a go...
Is “sensitive” the new politically correct way of saying “inaccurate”? I mean is the op really fluctuating between 11-15 psi, and that the boost box is just so sensitive that it can display what’s really going on?
First, I love that you did that. I’d do it if I could.
Okay so how about this one. How about the tale you hear about rentals having gps and logging what you done. I suppose as long as there is no accident, no one would be looking at any logs. Just curious if those thoughts went through...
Yep, that would work if it all works as advertised. I remember Procharger on here saying their tune can take a few thousand miles to trigger a pass. Might need to plan for that if the EB tune works the same way.
Good luck finding an aftermarket tune that can clear the O2 and HO2 monitors that the smog machine verifies as passing through the OBD2 connection. It may run just as clean as OEM, but there is some magic that happens when you have OEM support when writing a tune, it seems the aftermarket...
I might trust the Whippple or Roush, but all the others are going to be garbage tunes. Just good enough to get you to buy it, but not good enough to want to keep. It will take a while for Edelbrok users to go through the learning curve, but watch anyone who speaks highly about a canned...
Have to admit 20 years ago with a primered grey dented 5.0 foxbody life was good. All I can suggest is give up and drive as offensively as you can. Half kidding of course.
I saw all the guys in the other thread hypothesizing about this potential problem. I’ve launched my car from a dig a couple hundred times with less than 1/4 tank and no problems. Seems like it just depends who’s on the forum whether it’s a problem or not.
Panel is toast. Internet suggestion fail.
There was a post a few years back on here, guy tried polishing the panel and ruined it. Thin black gloss paint on the one he was working on, it was a 15-17. Not sure if the new ones are black gloss plastic or black gloss paint on plastic like the...
Best remedy for me is kicking off my the side mirrors. It’s really kind of easy and extremely satisfying. Came out to my mustang and noticed a big POS old 4x4 with out of state plates parked in front of me. Dickhead had pressed his front bumper 1/4” into mine. It was enough to put a crease...
Sucks the world puts a person on the defense when really they should be on the offense. Referee should be forced to have a logical answer why production cars that you are forced to pay state sales tax on aren’t legal to drive.

Since every few threads in the FI section suggest using octane boosters to get the knock protection we need in areas that don’t have E85, wondering how bad it really is. Livernois says is pretty bad, what gives. Just from reading...
