Is there a kit out there to upgrade the rear brake calipers on a PP GT to match the rears more closely to the fronts? Like a bracket that could adapt S197 GT500 rear Brembos to the S550?
This...I have PP2...so GT350 CAI, at a dead stop IATs are still high but with the dremeled out grill IATs drop much quicker than stock once you get moving even moving slowly.
I am actually very curious as to how well my GT (in its current configuration) stacks against a 350 on a road course. Right now the limiting factor (for corner speed) of my car is wheels/tires, but otherwise I think my setup puts power down better than a stock 350.
I plan on a 275-295F/305R...
You were far better than the guy I posted about but not as easy as the final buyer...thanks for the pass on. Once you said you didn't need the toe links, I had another person trying to get me to ship them to Australia, which I don't mind but hunting for cheap shipping was a pain (drove to UPS...
SOLD...finally (thank you to the actual buyer...very easy dealings)
Very frustrating process because of crap like this.
Potential buyer: i am interested in your 2016 pp shocks. I have a 2015 non PP mustang, would your shocks fit on my car? I have eibach sportline springs. also i would need...
Is yours wrapped or painted? Approx. cost? Is it flat or matte to try and imitate the premium plastic, I think id want to keep some white in there if I do this.
Iv never been a Mustang guy or a Ford guy, and still am not. This is my first Mustang, first Ford, first V8 anything. I wanted a RWD sports car with a decent power to weight ratio. In short the S550 fills the sports car roll nicely, the S197 does not.
I did 90% of my mods in a one shot install, hard to say which one I like best...collectively they transformed the car from slop city to a precision canyon carver. If I am forced to pick one Id say the blowfish shifter bracket/BG Trans fluid...turned the "crunchy" MT-82 into butter.
New rear rubber today, final alignment on Friday. I will do a drive shaft sometime before the end of the year, but have decided to slow down the build, enjoy it as it for a while.
Nothing too crazy
Id still daily drive my 2011 Tacoma!
Get Wife whatever she wants to DD, although I wouldn't be surprised if she opted to just keep her accord. We are both A-B people M-F, makes the Mustang that much more fun every weekend.
Id continue building my 16 GT into a beast
2017 or...
I remember getting excited back in 04 when they brought out the STi with 300hp and AWD...13 years later it's still 300hp. Mustang has gone from 260 to 460 in 14 years.
