  1. Protective Cover for "Key"/Transponder?

It sounds like a baby rattle in my dress pants without the tape or cover.
  2. Protective Cover for "Key"/Transponder?

I hear ya, but it's always in my pocket. :)
  3. Shelby's & Roush's, Oh my!

The moment Ford said the 2015 PP beats the Boss 302 on the track I knew this would happen. I'd still trade my 2015 with 2,000 miles on it for a 2014 Boss 302 with under 10,000 miles.
  4. GT brakes squeaking getting bad

Exactly. Do a 70mph hard stop...and stop babying your performance cars!
  5. Protective Cover for "Key"/Transponder?

Blue tape works fine and lasts a couple months. :)
  6. Borla S type ordered

I liked them, just not for my daily driver. :)
  7. A Man Has To Know His Limitations (Striping Failure)

That has been a big question and you just answered it. I had the 3M and holy crap you better not get the back wet. If yours can do a wet install with the tape across the middle then that's the way to go. Sounds like your kits are better than 3M.
  8. Borla S type ordered

    Agree, good people.
  9. Automatic vs Manual

Advantages to both, but if my PP was offered in an auto I would have bought it. Traffic sucks with a stick shift!!! For a daily driver I'd get an auto, for a weekend car definitely get the stick.
  10. A Man Has To Know His Limitations (Striping Failure)

My guess is it's a PIA even for the experts. Just finding the center of the car is a PIA. For the $400 labor and to know it's done right, it's worth letting them do it. I just wanted to say I tried and was hoping I'd be good at it. If I did 10 of these installs I'd be good at it. You...
  11. A Man Has To Know His Limitations (Striping Failure)

A clean, wind free, well lit environment is important. Doing by yourself is too hard dealing with the long hood pieces. I did a wet install on the front stripes and a dry install on the rear stripes. You'd think the wet install would allow the stripes to slide around while getting positioned...
  12. R/T Scat pack..still fat..no threat

    LOL good one.
  13. A Man Has To Know His Limitations (Striping Failure)

Supposed to look like this with a 1 inch gap.
  14. A Man Has To Know His Limitations (Striping Failure)

It's actually good I screwed up where I did because the stripes are designed to have a 1 inch gap and not a 2 inch gap. The kit would not have fit properly on the back pieces.
  15. A Man Has To Know His Limitations (Striping Failure)

Thanks man! I could get good at if I had the money and time to invest.
  16. R/T Scat pack..still fat..no threat

True, but they do sound damn good. :)
  17. A Man Has To Know His Limitations (Striping Failure)

10.5 inch stripes with a 2 inch gap.
  18. A Man Has To Know His Limitations (Striping Failure)

So I tried striping the car myself. I started with the little splitter pieces and they went on fine. Next was the front bumper and quickly wrinkled those and realized I was way over my head with this job. After that I knew I'd have to pay a pro to install these, but decided to put the hood...
  19. R/T Scat pack..still fat..no threat

I kind of like the Scatpack. Is that wrong?
  20. Manual Trans. Thud when shifting

I came out of a GTI dual clutch and it was incredible. What is wrong with Ford's? I've never experienced Ford's version.
