It can range from as little as 3 months to many months. Lots of factors are involved, if you spend time looking through the many threads and discussions on this forum.
I've documented my recent order to delivery timeline, which was about 12 weeks, and it can be seen at this post below...
Something similar was recently discussed by several forum members. Try reading through this at the link below:

My dealer (salesperson) said the same thing to me.
On a related note, I can recall there were TWO times my dealer (salesperson) was especially *sweet* to me in the entire order-to-delivery process over 12 weeks. The first time was just before I put down my $500 deposit for the order, and the...
For those who have received their cars, you likely got an email survey from Ford (see example screenshot below). I'm not asking how you responded, but more interested in how many of you actually took the time to do it.
Doing some more digging and research, and I came across a post in a F150 forum, and learned some new and interesting information there (see link below). I'm not saying this is directly related to this thread, but I learned more under the "Allocation" and "Commodities" (and Scheduling) sections...
If you have had a chance to talk or chat with Ford Performance (link below), what are they telling you for latest status on your order?
https://performanceparts.ford.com/contact-us/
For example, are they indicating something like:
Unscheduled-Clean
Unscheduled-Material Hold
or something else?
FYI - there's another forum that has many threads and discussions about this subject. If you are curious, the link below will give you some ideas:

Thanks! I've tried to best document and consolidate as much information about the order process, partly for my own needs, and also in hopes to help anyone else who visits this forum. When I first started my journey in wanting to order a car (last December), I didn't know much. So I spent a...
You are welcome. I also just now updated that same post to consolidate other posts I made, which you and others might find helpful. Link is updated below:

My order to delivery process was about 12 weeks. I documented on this forum the complete timeline of that journey at the link below:

Ok, on that sheet you shared, I see this information for your order:
Order Number: C422
Dealer/Sales Code: F71170
With that info, you can talk or chat with Ford Performance at:
https://performanceparts.ford.com/contact-us/
They might be able to give you more information about your order...
BINGO! Yes, the sheet I shared in my post above was my PREVIEW ORDER -- the order that sat UNSUBMITTED in my Dealer's system for 10 days. When I went back on day 10 to check (because I was getting crickets and no emails), they were like "oh, looks like we did not (forgot to) submit the Preview...
It sounds like the white sheet you saw with your options might have been your DORA sheet. See if your Dealer can provide you a copy.
My Dealer did a Purchase Agreement form, which documented my deposit, and agreed-upon price and all costs/fees/taxes/licensing/registration/etc that I would pay...
I made a previous post on the 4 emails (at a minimum) you receive in the lifecycle of order to delivery of a vehicle. The 2nd email in my post below is an example of getting the Production Date and VIN.
https://www.mustang6g.com/forums/threads/22-s550-tracking-thread.171280/post-3512680
When I made my order, I was given two specific sheets to take home:
1. Dealer Order Acknowledgment (DORA)
2. Purchase Agreement.
Below are examples of each.
The DORA sheet has both the Dealer Code (also known as "Sales Code") and the Order Number. If you don't have these sheets in hand, you...
I wrote a post earlier this year based on a similar experience I had with my car order. To see it, go to the link below:

Thanks for sharing the screenshot, from your Vehicle Visibility Report (VVR). I did some searches through the F-150, Bronco and Lincoln Aviator forums, as I was getting similar "Plant Hold" hits and wanted to see if anyone there could better explain it. The only thing I found was that for...
6 weeks in a rail yard?!? Did you see this similar thread on the forum (link below):

Earlier on this thread, I think there was a post explaining this. Try this link below to that post:
