That's cool, I plan to visit often. Sasuketer, how dare you taunt me like that lol. Just got back from driving the jeep in the 4-5 inches of snow we got. Ok, I get it now...
Oh there was definitely no control, turning or stopping lol. But that speed going downhill was so visceral. Going to make it a point to go again this winter a few times at least. Good idea about the season pass.
As far as the mustang in the winter, I've done it for the past 8 years. It's doable...
Well the snow hits tomorrow in Michigan so the Mustang is now in storage as of this evening. I'm having separation anxiety. Just went for a cruise and out to dinner in the Jeep I picked up for the winter and quickly realized I'm not about that life. I'm going to have to hunt down a wrx, s4, ss...
Nice install, dd subs are phenomenal. What model did u go with and how did u make the choice on everest amps? Never heard of them before but the specs look great.

Interesting because I talked with Lido at Alternative Auto and he said he permanently stopped installing centrifugal blowers on newer Mustangs because of issues like this. Really made me change my mind and decide to cough up the extra cash for the Whipple kit this winter.
Great thread, nice to see what everyone else is planning on. Driving a lowered Mustang in Michigan during winter conditions is something I'll never do again. It's doable with winter tires or even all seasons but it's just so unpleasant to subject the car to such shitty conditions. Potholes...

I've had the Steeda axleback installed for two weeks and it's provided EXACTLY what I wanted which was a snarling, rumbling & deeply musical exhaust note without rasp or obnoxious noise. Sounds pretty much fantastic in all situations. Doesn't wake the neighbors or piss off bystanders...
