Can anybody tell me where this hose goes? It's the driver side rear wheel area. I have a code for the evap system. This hose broke a couple years ago when I lost a snow chain.
The 6.5" fits the door fine but the tweeter mount had to be modified. I used a dremel to make the whole a bit bigger. Then I was able to just press it in. It fits snug and if I really wanted it more secure, I could have used a PVC glue. I'll try to get a picture of the tweeter tomorrow.
I'm running the JBL GTO609c in the front doors and the A pillar without the crossover and the GTO329 for the 3.5" in the doors. Still on the factory shaker 12 amp. For the rear fill, I still have the stock coaxial but probably going to upgrade to the GTO629. I need to swap out the center dash...
If I remember right, in California you cant have more than 4 forward facing lights. If you have more than that, they had to be covered. If you remember all the lifted trucks with light bars and the "KC" lights, they had covers. Also, the Ford Thunderbird Turbo coupes came with the 4 headlights...
Whenever I see a cylinder misfire, I swap coils from opposite ends. If on a 4cyl, I swap 1 with 4 or on a V8, 6 with 2. If the code remains the same, then swap plugs. if its still the same code, then it requires a different approach.
I was just in Canada and they have some interesting signs on the highways. I saw 1 that said "Kill a worker, $1,500 fine and 75 years in prison".
The speed limit on the highway was 100kph. The rental car was a Toyota Corolla with cvt and I had to go 110-120 just to not get ran over.
I also...
You all are forgetting about Prop 65. So its gonna cost a lot.. I mean Cancer ain't cheap. Any other state, and its only a $100 or so for tape. Paint, a couple more.
BIG Thanks to a local member, I ended up putting a stock clutch back in. Car is up and running and as good as new. That now leaves me with an extra $1,000 to use for car parts. Hmmmm what to do?
I know it's a wear item, but I have never had a clutch just let go like this. I'm not going to even bother to have the dealer look at it because I already know what the outcome will be. Not worth the hassle.
The clutch on my 2016 GT/PP/PP just let go. It has 52,000 on it so I'm pretty sure that the dealer isn't going to cover it. It let go as I was coming off the freeway and downshifted. Instead of fighting with the dealer to get a stock replacement, I'm going to swap it out myself. Looking for...
It just depends. My work truck, I have 541,000 miles on the original clutch. My 99 f350 with a 7.3 has 195,000 on it. My clutch in the Mustang just fell apart at 51,000. It was running great all the way home, then coming off the off ramp, I downshifted from 60mph to 3rd and it just felt weird...
I'm willing to bet it was a false positive. It may have sensed a low voltage or a spike or just a basic glitch because of the battery. I'm helping a friend with a suburban and its sat for a bit and the battery was weak. Its thrown a MAP sensor code, cleared it, then a TPS code.
Dead batteries can cause the CEL light. When I forget to put my motorcycle on the tender and the battery goes flat, I charge it and start it, it will also have a CEL light. It will eventually go out after it sees all the drive cycles it needs to clear itself. Same thing for cars. Computer is...
Pulling power for an amp from the fuse box is not ideal as most amps require more than can be supplied at that source. Unless your running a very small amp, its best to run a dedicated power off the battery. Right under the battery box, there is a lot of room and nothing in the way to drill a...
