So I recently pullied down from a 3.25” 6 rib to a 2.875” on a Gen 5 Whipple in hopes of getting my 60-130mph under 5 sec. Car has a sleeved motor and clutches on the 10R80. My best is 5.17 sec with the 3.25”. Problem is, with the 2.875” pulley the car won’t hook till about 80mph. Current...

Decided to install a 3.25 griptec instead of this one so it’s up for sale. Brand new in box with new bolts. Belt is new as well. $110 shipped.

Has vibrant 1794 3 in/out 12in long resonator that’ll reduce rasp especially when running headers. $2400 at Beefcake racing and Lethal Performance last I checked, asking for $1400.

Mods: RPG Sleeved Motor, Gen 5 Whipple, 10R80 with McLeod Clutches/Stock Converter, BMR suspension, ET Street SS 305/45/17 Will 900whp be too much power for the 10R80? I know that past that mark they don’t last with just clutches but I was hoping I can pulley down from the stock 3.875 pulley...
