Sorely disappointed in the stock (non-shaker) sound system in my '18 GT Prem PP vert! Lacks depth and mid-range. I'm looking at replacing the amp with JL Audio VX6006I http://www.jlaudio.com/vx600-6i-car-audio-vxi-amplifiers-98639 and the front 6.5, 3, and tweeter with FOCAL 165AS3...

LOL! Yep, Charlie (miniature Australian Shepherd) is my Bud... I make my kids take their shoes off too, but Charlie gets to go wherever he wants :D. It's the reward for always consistently greeting me at the door and never talking back! :thumbsup:

Oh? :shrug:. Has anyone here driven a Slingshot? I will agree, stock suspension on the Slingshot leaves a lot to be desired. Addition of Bilstein coilovers is what makes me feel mine is close when it comes to cornering... and some confidence derived from driving it for the past 3 years...

To each his own... Those guys don't represent the entire population of Slingshot owners... Hate the player, not the machine...:headbang:

You should go test drive one, then you'll know... Picture adult go-cart that you can take on the highway... Pretty much sums up the experience.

Underpowered? I would say not true. Turbo/Supercharger kits take them into the +300HP range, which in my opinion is stupid power for something that weighs 1,700lbs, but I'd love to have either just because LOL. The biggest issue is traction to the single rear tire... Racing from a dead stop...

Slingshot - Stock 173hp at the crank, 5 spped manual, and 1,700lbs As pictured... CAI, header, catless straight exhaust - ???HP. ;) VS. Stock '18 GT PP Vert, 10 speed auto Honestly, two very different driving experiences... Both capable of getting my adrenaline pumping! :thumbsup:

New member both on the forum and to the world of S550 Mustangs. Picked up my '18 GT Premuim convertible with performance package last week. This car is amazing!! Hopefully will have a better picture soon!
