Traffic with this GT/PP stick may be the reason I eventually get rid of the car. It sucks. Although I wouldn't have this particular car with an auto. The stick really unleashes the performance in and out of turns. I'll be the first to admit the stick wearing me out though.
I think the only reason people hammer on the EB is the sound. IMO other 4 cylinders sound stronger (even though they are not). My GTI sounded pretty damn good and have heard many other 4 bangers that sound better. Once Ford finds the right tune/sound I think all the haters will go away. :)
The rear trunk shiny plastic piece has been adjusted to maximum movement and it still digs into my bumper and is offset to the passenger side. Not happy about that, but when I look at all other 2015's they sit to the the right as well. This is a factory tooling problem.
Other than that I...
I get people on a daily basis talking to me about it. Parking lots, intersections, driving giving thumbs up, you name it. It's amazing how many people like it.
Honestly, you wouldn't want that transmission for performance anyway. Once they get a dual clutch or at a minimum a floor +/- where you can hold it in gear, then it would be worth it.
Your Redline Recaros were awesome when I sat in them Sunday. Facebook the Pony Up group and have them add you. I went to their monthly meet at Biff Burger Monday night and it was great.
I'm extra sensitive to drone so even the FRPP Touring catback gave me a headache and it's a fairly mild aftermarket system. Maybe you're like me and just sensitive to it.
