An awesome car! I was going back-and-forth on colors but really love the Magnetic.
This was the only manual GT premium that I could find with base wheels. Since I was planning on after-market wheels, I didn't want an upgrade here. But, the 18's aren't too bad. I may hang on to them for...
I hate the idea of spending so much on a car and then having to advertise for the dealer. I'm referring to the dealer badges that they put on.
The car that I'm looking at already has it on. No paint or decal, but I thick badge.
Would it be glued on? Not sure if there's a safe way to pop...
Has anyone gotten a car delivered with them yet? Driven one. See one?
There's one about two hours away from me. Before I check it out, I wanted to get some thoughts on the wheels. Pics look fine. But, in person?
See below and the attached. The list attached is for the Phildelphia region (just page 1), but I'm assuming they're doing this all over the country.
It looks like each dealer is getting one extra Mustang. I looked up some of these VINs. According to COTUS, some will be delivered real soon...
Too much red?
I'm liking the Ruby Red for a GT premium more and more (as opposed to Magnetic), but I'm getting tired of black interiors.
Saddle isn't available with Ruby Red (not sure why. Red/tan's a good combo). But, a Redline is.
Is that too much red?
Hi. Thinking of getting the PP black wheels repainted or powder coated (ie.-gun metal, aluminum, something else).
I've never had that done before. What should I look for when trying to find someone to do that? I'm worried about a poor job.
Or, does anyone know of a good place near Philly...

So, I'm thinking of TSW wheels, either Max or Mugello in Hyper Silver (see link above). They run about $265 a piece. Adding in tires, I'm figuring about $2200 for a set. Considering that upgrading from the stock wheels through Ford is approximate $1K...
I'm wondering what would be the best size for aftermarket wheels on a GT.
It seems like the opinion is 20's are too big.
For 19's, Ford has a few different options. The 50 AP is 19 x 8.5. The PP has 19 x 9 and 19 x 9.5.
I think the PP size would be the way to go?
I think I am, for peace of mind. If planning on keeping a long time, it'll be nice.
I think that you can shop around for it - you can get it from any Ford dealer. I think I'd prefer the factory warranty over third party.
I'm guessing around $1500 for a $100K warranty.
Always used to hear that comment that's it's not a great idea to buy a new model right away - there'll be some bugs that will come up, best to wait until they're addressed.
Do you think that's still the case? I'd figure that it's not much of an issue these days. And, if it is, I still have...
Think it's worth it to get the PP on a GT 6 sp manual that'll be a daily driver?
For the money, I'm not sure I'd see the value. May be best just to add on larger wheels and be done with it. Save some $$$.
As 'passionate' as I am about driving, I don't think I see the benefits of it through...
