Right I think I have figured it out you must have the cruise control set to on, when i tried this on my car i got the same screen as you so if you switch it off and then press the button on the left control stalk it should turn the display off.

Just been out to check mine and i cannot get it to replicate yours, i have been into the lane keeping assist options and no matter how i set it i can still turn the icon in the display off an on, anyone else able to assist with this issue??

You can switch it off and on by using the left hand stalk push the button on the end see below.

Just had the car ceramic coated, rear windows tinted in Dark Smoke 35% light transmission, swapped the side badges for matt black ones and changed the interior lights for LED ones.

Finally did this today and the centre overhead console does come off but you need to use a lot of force to remove it, it goes back on a lot easier.

Agree with you, RWD very powerful you have to treat it with respect. I used to own a Jaguar XFR-S and didn't treat it with respect and ended up spinning round 10 times on the M6 and totalling the car, luckily i walked away and no one else was hurt but it made me change the way i drive RWD car.
