Not too bad with my 22 GT. I had a 2018 EB mustang that the A10, it was horrible. This one better but still get bad shifts once in a while. I also have a 2019 RAM truck with ZF8 auto. The Ford A10 aint even close...Thats the best auto Ive ever had...
The BMS is set from the factory to only charge to like 75-80 percent. This results in deep sleep mode kicking in way too much. Your battery is probably just fine. If Im not going to drive it for more than a week, I connect a trickle charger. It charges the battery to 100 percent. I believe you...
I have 22 GT Premium 401 A. I use a tender normally if I know the car will be parked more than a week. It ALWAYS goes into deep sleep at 14 days since last start. This is programmed in the BMS configuration, so there are other factors other than just battery charge/condition. Not really crazy...
Ford must have changed the BMS in past few years. I had a 2018 EB that could sit for over a month and would never go into deep sleep. My 22 GT at 14 days dozes off even if I have a trickle charger connected. I bought a 800mA battery tender and use it if I know Im not driving it for a week or so...
In case anyone wasnt aware, you can now use your reward points to purchase from accessories.ford.com
I just ordered a whole set of floor mats, only paid the tax....and still have 13k points left....
The non-B&O stereo is not going to have amplification for the sub. You will have to have an amp. I would maybe find a place for an amp by the spare tire (easy if you dont have the spare) and have it power the factory sub you want to install. I had an aftermarket sub in a 2018 premium and tapped...
If I had an interest in this tree-hugger CAFE nonsense, I would buy a Prius. Mustang GT with Auto-Start-Stop, no thanks. Cylinder deactivation .. light weight oils, all that stuff is non-sense in the real world...
This crap only works on paper for the CAFE numbers bean counters.. I guess we...
Auto-Start-Stop is reason enough for me not to get the S650. I know you can cut it off but its just the principle.......hate all that CAFE shit that does nothing to improve real world MPGs
Totally agree, I have multiple horror stories of loose drain plugs, underfilling, overfilling, wrong filter etc. The dealer is the last place I want changing my oil. They use minimum wage crack heads as lube techs. The mechanics are another story. Most are very reputable technicians, but those...
Correct me if I'm wrong, But I believe the mustang does not use the belt driven oil pump or cylinder deactivation...These are only in the F150.....At least I hope so
I recently purchased a 2022 GT Premium non-pp. I was looking to add the pp strut brace. American Muscle sells the kit with the cross member and the angle piece that attaches to the firewall(this replaces a plastic one that holds the edge of the battery box.) Come to find out that my car already...
Yup, these plugs look identical to mine ....18 ecoboost premium w/9 speaker system.. I find it odd that they used solid green for center speaker, goes against all the standard speaker wire colors, still not sure...
I totally agree..have a 2012 Fusion with base stereo which blows away my 9 speaker premium system....I have added a sub which helped but still have that honkey, upper midrange EQ curve that just sounds like shit !!! Shame on Ford for this...other than that, love the car
Yup,
I dont mind cutting and capping the wire. It can always be spliced back together as long as there is slack. I was just looking for some confirmation that this pic is correct before I dug into it. Covering the center speaker with a small pillow significantly improved the sound stage. It...
This is the only pic Ive seen depicting this. Theres a bunch out there with the green wire clipped in the center plug. I just wanted to be sure. I guess solid green is somewhat of a standard color for center dash speaker regardless of amp/plug configuration ???.... Im gonna try clipping this one...
