Question for all.
Would mounting the supports that come with the Roush splitter and lower grill work to support the APR splitter in lieu of the splitter rods?
This is more an annoyance to me, I whole heartedly agree a massive pain in the rear.
My biggest gripe is how thin the paint is on the car. If a fly farts in the direction of the car I get a new chip in the paint. :curse:
8 months ~7K miles, makes all the noises both good and bad. Happy as can be. So happy my wife bought “her own mustang”. Which means the GT is officially mine :like::clap::thumbsup:
Update to this story. Wife’s recently got a promotion and the commute has become a little longer. Since the new job she really hasn’t driven the mustang as the drives have slow and long. 3 pedals in SF Bay Area traffic is rough. She still thoroughly enjoys the mustang. So what did she do...
Engine seems fine, pulls really hard. Not trying to create another paranoia thread about the noises.
I Know stock motor has more in it but I won’t get as much timing advance as others as I’m in CA with only 91 available. Just curious if I’m leaving more on the table because of the noise.
Just curious if anyone with the tick/rattle logged timing, and if the noise caused the car to sense false knock and pull timing?
I don’t have a way to check myself.
No insult taken, that’s why I’m here trying to get insight from those with a more experience.
Interesting idea with the data logging and process. I think that can apply with any car that’s taken on track.
Any concerns doing a track day with all seasons with this much brakes and power and...
I’ve enjoyed auto crossing FWD in my former cars, but looking to try the full road course. Looking for the challenge of balancing speed, gear selection and line.
Since you have a FWD track car and the mustang, how easy is it to transition from FWD habits to rear drive habits when you take...
I was thinking the same thing about the Miata , my only apprehension is my wife hates them. She helps/enables/fuels/funds this car addiction soon to be hobby and wants to race too.
My daughter just picked an NA and honestly I am a little jealous as I know what you can turn an NA/NB into for...
Looking into starting HPDE/Road Racing as a hobby, and bought the PP1 for this reason. After having the car for about 3K miles now, I realize I’m not gonna to be able to drive the car even close to it’s limits (yet).
I’m looking for some suggestions as to what you’d suggest that I can get into...
I’ll be putting up a video of this at some point. I haven’t seen anything on YT with this combo of resonator and mufflers. The one thing is I don’t have an active exhaust. I think the active s types are plumbed a little differently? I’m not sure how much my video would help with your setup...
