Gen 2 built in early 2022. After a good warm up and easy drive when stopping at a light the idle stumbles and recovers. Seems to be intermittent. I can’t find any evidence that’s normal behavior other than some anecdotal comments that it is. Is there any known reason for it to stumble?

Is there any way to revitalize the stripes that have an abrasion on them? They look like someone was rubbing them too hard in one spot. I’ve been trying to clean severely neglected exhaust tips with Meguirars products but not getting anywhere. Is there any specific product that can be used?

What clutch did you have an engine failure on? The previous owner had it installed by Ford when the gen 2 was installed because he thought the oem clutch wasn’t behaving properly for whatever reason. Ford wanted an incredible price to change the oem and flywheel so he got them to instal the...

That’s a pretty comforting number at 150. If any of those had determined to cause a failure no doubt the internet would have been pointing fingers.

I just purchased a 2017 which has the rxt 1,200 in it. The previous owner had an issue with the oem and replaced it. My concern is that not being stock the Ford ESP might be voided if the engine failed. Is that a possibility? I don’t really want to pay for an oem clutch and flywheel but...

Thank you. I’ll try to look under there to see. Not certain exactly what I’m looking for under the car for the dif and trans. It was the April 2017 printing date that through me off as perhaps early 2017 cars didn’t yet have the coolers.

Yes the engine was replaced in 2022 with a gen 2

Just picked up a gen 2 2017 with the tech package. A single sheet was added to the owners manual dated April 2017 that stated you should get an after market trans and dif cooler if tracking it. I thought the tech package and base cars had these coolers standard in 2017?

Alas the 2016 was kept by the owner and subsequently had an engine failure. So glad I dodged that bullet. Hopefully a warranty from somewhere will be available for 2017 no doubt at an outrageous cost. I don’t think one from Ford is available.

I have a 2021 Roush stage 3 6 speed which is bullet proof but looking at something different with a manual as well. Maybe just add warranty for piece of mind.
