I drilled, the contact is good at the three areas but not good enough IMO to stick with just tape especially with the downforce this spoiler generates.
It is three holes for each mounting spot although one of them is a big stud that I've seen people remove and not drill.

I added the Ford Performance GT350/500 spoiler to my PP1 convertible this afternoon. There was enough flex in the spoiler to fit the slightly curved convertible trunk easily.
What do you mean by rear hood coping?
The front of the car and base of the windshield are high pressure areas. If you raise the back of the hood or remove the seal there then at speed air will get forced into the engine bay reducing airflow through the radiator.
