I have managed to enjoy several more months with the car and still get a few things sorted. The next few things on the list would be easier to sort if my sensible hat was put on, so if you lovely boys and girls know of anyone looking for this spec, then please let them know. It's priced at...
GR11M hope you get this sorted asap mate, without any hassle
IIRC the TSB is only for US cars, no official one for UK yet? My car, along with a lot of others on here, was built before 28th July 2016 and I have heard nothing from Ford about replacing this part
Too much original material taken away from hood, which means less surface area for the vents to bond to, not sure why there was so much original material cut away for this mod
I missed out on a pair a couple months back due to bad timing but thought there would be others out there.
If you don't mind having a look to see what tread they have and then send me a PM to see whats what
TBH I have no problem with running the P Zero tyre the mustang comes with but I know a few of you out there do OR have changed wheels and no longer require the factory fitted P Zero.
So if anyone out there has 2 x Rear P Zero Tyres with decent tread and for a decent price, please let me know.
Watching that video a few times I can see some quirky things going on....take a look at when the brakes are applied, the indicator becomes dull as if its the rear nights lights bulb flashing instead of the indicator....not a fan tbh.
The later cars changed things yes but it doesn't mean you may not have had other problems. Get the car booked in, AC sorted and enjoy the car mate and if in a 6 months time you don't fancy the chance of keeping it past warranty, trade it in for a newer model
Although this sucks and I hope they sort it for you mate, don't think about trading it in, especially when you still have at least a year+ left on the warranty....just enjoy the car
This looks the better way to do it because you only need a cut out below the vent itself and with less cut away, it means a bigger surface area for glue between bonnet and vent.......
Oh dear but at least no other damage and hopefully an easy fix. Was only just looking at your car yesterday at Speedfest and didn't see you about anywhere
