Don't let the bad luck put your off enjoying the car mate. Just take it easy around the circuit and don't do anything silly. If it's pissing down I won't be going out on track and that will be the only thing to put me off. Even better as we can see the RS in action as well.

On typical track days I would agree with you because the variety of cars plus the difference in driver talent puts the probability of an accident up big time. If however you have the same cars on track with an instructor in the passenger seat who is going to be another pair of eyes and also warn...

For the sake of 40mins on track is track insurance required. We are on track with other mustang owners and all of us will have an instructor in the car telling us what to do and looking out for us. It's not like a standard track day where you are on track a lot more and out there by yourself...

Nice wheel mate, take care of the alcantara i.e. no oily crap on your hands etc because it will destroy the material and it will end up going very smooth and look like a cheap leather. I know this because it happened on my race wheel I had in the clio and it went after about a year.

IIRC isn't the lightning blue the exact same colour that is on the GT350, which means there are plenty of pics to see of that colour on an S550 shape.

The venue has definitely got a few more meets to host especially in the summer months with the lighter evenings (yeah an evening meet could work?) for some good photo opportunities.
