I haven't booked on yet because I am waiting to do my John Palmer Sport day next month to get a feel for the track and good knowledge for when I take the Mustang. The format I am looking at is the Open Pit Lane on the GT circuit for the full day. I have done a few of these in the past with my...
Great bit of Mustang publicity for them to listen to.
Sounds like a very good idea to me Andy. I have seen on a program some of the cars Ford have hiding in there and they look great.
So this was my first time on track with a RWD car and it was just awesome!! My instructor Ross was very good with instructions and explaining what I should do differently with a RWD car. He had been racing for 22yrs since he was 11 so I knew I was in safe hands. I was on the last session (Orange...
Careful of brands because it is a very tight circuit with very little run off in places and where there is run off, it's just grass and then barrier.
If you want to enjoy your car more and carry on learning then give Bedford Autodrome a try mate. Plenty of run off (in the middle of an airfield...
Nice write up Manders, my car is the CO that was parked next to stevec and Centurion07 in your pictures, which funnily enough were the only 2 I spotted and managed to have a quick chat with, did not spot any others unfortunately, except you Manders and the girlfriend walking in the car park...
Sorry to see that mate. It almost looks like something had got wedged in there and folding the mirrors has moved it about and caused a horrible looking mess :tsk:

This Focus RS just like the Mk1 doesn't stand out enough like the Mk2 did. This just looks like a focus with a few mods added on and to get rid of the Mk2 engine noise was a silly move. Looks like they will be fairly popular on the roads and spotted regularly compared with the mustangs.
It's a weird setup because normally UK tracks within reason have insurance for damage occurring on a track day to their property because 9 times out of 10 track day insurance will only cover YOUR car.....no one elses if you should hit them, no personal claim by a passenger etc. So I think it...
With the temperatures already being low and track temperatures being low as well because of cloud cover, the track will be a little slippery on the P Zeros regardless of rain. Rain is forecast for 13:00pm for a couple of hours, which is after the sessions finish but temperatures are sitting at...
