Funny man, where in the warehouse, moving boxes around?
I am sharing that I am aware of at least two resources who work with all of these tires daily, not every 4 years when they need a new set for their personal vehicle. They also get to meet with the reps when the new ones come out. They try...
@Ewheels, I will enjoy it. Thank you for your comment.
For how I drove the Mustang and how I still drive my daily drivers, Michelins are the best tires for me. Yes, I have tried the others. I have taken multiple sets of Continentals back to the tire shop under warranty to have them replaced...
No attitude, brother, just stating my opinion and preference, based on my own personal experience and what I have read from others.
And I will not "rip off" any tires until it's time to replace them again, with Michelins.
I don't understand why folks spend $40k+ on these cars, and then try to save a couple hundred dollars on inferior tires. The only thing between you and the road are those tires.
I guess a better question since my previous one was heavily modified and tuned, comparing stock to stock, would I as your average weekend driver notice a difference in horsepower, performance and speed? I'm hearing no, which is what my research suggested.
This post is for those who really know, who have driven and/or owned both cars. I don't mean to disrespect anyone who has read something on the internet, used ChatGPT, etc. I have as well. I want to hear from those who know.
I liked my 2nd car, weekend driver 2019 GT Premium manual , beautiful...
You'll never see Continentals or Goodyears on my cars —only Michelins. Every time I try to save a little money, I end up going back to the Michelins. If your car is not a daily driver and sits for long periods, as my Mustang did, the Continentals develop flat spots, as confirmed by the tire shop...
Maybe I missed it in the details, but you don't tell us the symptoms, what's going on, is the battery completely dead and the car won't even turn over? If yes, why not call ford then and have them come pick it up?
I don't have an answer to your question but my question is what is your concern? You said the car looks great, I'm guessing it's just curiosity? Mine is the same color, never even thought to check the paint depths.
The previous owner of mine installed an h-pipe, long tube headers, and Borla ATAK cat back, without the active exhaust. The car is stupid loud. I knew it was loud when I bought it, but it's annoying loud. I'm not going to invest money to modify it, just sharing with you since you posted about it.
I hit the like button in sympathy ;-)
I've been so careful with my car. I was going about 30 mph, took a hard sharp turn, I've taken that curve many times before, where there was a curb, I was daydreaming, and boom.
I've owned my Mustang for a little over a year, I live in the city, so I pay super close attention to the curbs. Wasn't paying attention yesterday, daydreaming, took a hard turn to the right and the passenger tire hit the curb pretty hard. I guess the damage could have been worse, a rim guy I've...
