It's going to be a long wait for the H2H on these cars. I hope Ford gives a 350 for the testing. The last gen 1LE/GT comparison, Ford wouldn't give Motor Trend a Boss:

and the 5th Gen 1LE was better than the 2015 GTPP.
at this point for me it's a coin flip on which car to get next...
Well..they didn't make it with 6R80...so your point is moot. GT500 had major problems lapping a track considering all the HP under the hood. It didn't perform well at Lightning Lap that year either due to terrible brakes, handling and couldn't put the power to the ground. The only place it...
I'm a 5th Gen 1LE owner. I saw the new 1LE at the Chicago Auto Show last week. I love the changes. Looks more sculpted and athletic. It's comparable to what happened with the C6 to C7 Corvettes.
Best part about the GT350 is the restyled front end. Less Fusion..more aggression. The car...
I wouldn't count out this 1LE against the 350. People...and I was one of them...did the same thing with ZL1 vs GT500. I was rooting for the Cobra and was very disappointed when it was lacking in the brakes, stability and suspension department compared to the ZL1.
**Disclosure: I currently own a 2014 1LE**
This 1LE will match the Gen 5 Z/28 in performance, Which puts it past the 350 and approaching 350R territory. Why? the regular SS already hits the Z's 1/4 mile times and is very close going around the road courses. Bigger tires, better suspension...
Exactly this...Ford had 2 years to tighten up the 350. Let's see what happens when the Gen 6 1LE - ZL1- Z/28 hits the pavement. Then we'll be all in for some fireworks.
This makes things really interesting....
"With more horsepower and a curb weight down 214 pounds from the last Camaro SS we tested, the new 2016 Camaro SS put down some frighteningly quick numbers at the track. The acceleration run from 0 to 60 mph took just 4.0 seconds, and the quarter mile...
1987 Ford Taurus- was in 3 accidents. The last one totaled her when an uninsured driver pulled out in front of me. Was the first car.
1995 Dodge Avenger- 1st car that I ever purchased on my own when I was in the Marine Corps. Was a good car. Water pump went out on me and shit canned the whole...
Just because people call on a vehicle doesn't mean a thing. That's just talk. Now if there were actual sales and a wait list with people beating on the glass at the sales tower then sure...you might have an angle to justify it. Or a bidding war on car #1 like in Brian's story. Kudos to...
I did read what you said and now I'm reading you basically skeeved 3 customers over sticker price just because you could and they were dumb enough to pay. The Demand argument your advancing is weak. People are demanding to pay more? Wow...I need to open a dealership in your area. The only...
Ugh...the stupid "restaurant/grocery store" counterargument car biz people use when discussing mark ups....you know this argument is as fresh as a Foghat concert right? You're talking 2 different industries.
Here's the rub on ADMs....dealerships can add them, but you really don't have the...
Haha!!! Hey man...no offense, but when I've read your responses in this thread the Rolling Stones 'Sympathy for the Devil' was playing in my head.
A Dealership won't find sympathy in these forums...Anyways...I worked for a dealership for a bit and I have friends that work in...
ADM is the biggest bullshit in the car business. You know why? It's because scumbag dealerships "decide" what the market is and sticker the window as such. I would never buy from a dealership that practices ADM.
There is a thread started in C5 forums on Z/28s that were ADM'ed by the dealers...
I want to see some real pics of the interior before I pass judgment, not the stock Ford press release ones.
I love the exterior. The regular Mustangs are ugly. They took that body and made it more vicious looking....especially with the CF "fangs" on the front. It even has a snake like...
There's been a lot of discussion on the Camaro5 1LE forums about the Recaros and treating/caring for the Alcantara steering wheel and shifter.
Wheel and shifter will show a little wear around the first 6000 miles of the car. Some owners have had success using the same type of suede leather...
