I was driving my car yesterday and while I was in auto in Sport mode it hit the rev limiter hard and popped out of gear as I tried to pass a car on the highway. As I slowed down and got back into my lane it ended up grabbing a gear again and let me accelerate back up. Probability slowed over...
I went the other way. I sold my jeep and bought a mustang.
I have owned 5 jeeps (only wrangles) since my 98. Other then leaks I haven't had any real problems. The tops are a pain in the butt to take off. The soft tops are a little easier, but still it's a chore.
The SWB 2 door jeeps ride...
No. I tried today.
Edit:
I tried to hold the left paddle down and it won't drop into any of their gear then the next lower gear.
You can blip the throttle in auto and it will down shift into a lower gear around 4500 rpm.
I don't have much to compare to, but I have a Escort Max 360c and love it. I also have the app on my phone and it does a good job of picking up radars. I live in a rural area so mostly 2 lane highways and it has already paid for its self.
The msrp was expensive, but the place I bought it from...
back to the OP.
Yes, I have driven the ZL1, it was the reason why I bought my car. A friend bought one and let me take it out for a while. That thing is a beast. I was instantly corrupted and "Needed" a fast car, so I set out shopping. I was working with a pretty strict budget and that helped...
When I fished commercially i bought a new car just about every year. I was putting at least 80k miles a year on my cars so I always tried to trade them in before they hit 100k. Seemed like the 20,000 miles from 80 to 100k almost caused as much depreciation as the first 20k miles.
I don't know...
I have a base with D and S. I think that ford nailed it, for around town and 90% of the time D is perfect. When I do shift into Sport mode I have been very happy with it. It holds gears better is willing to downshift going into corners, and only every once in a while it will hang in a gear...
mine does this. 2018 GT/10spd
It is only when its been sitting overnight and its cold out. If I am idling down my driveway, 2 miles of gravel, it happens under 10mph. The tranny acts like it has a hard time shifting into 2nd. As it tried to shift out of 1st gear it will rev up to 2,500 and slam...
Not sure on this one, but a lot of parts departments have new take-off sets of wheels around. The dealer sells a car with "upgraded" wheels and end up with the take offs.
I agree with this as well. It's just a game. Remember they are were/are building cars 24/7 and there are a lot to chose from. NEVER get attached to one, because you will find another just like it somewhere else. Never be scared to walk. When you do leave your number and let them know that you...
Guess I'm not following.
From a quick glance.
The warranty looks like it only covers select parts and $7,500 seems cheap for a long block. Then adding $995 for the warranty?
I'm on my phone so reading legal documents is tough.
Was looking at superchargers and really like the fact that I get to keep my factory warranty since I just bought the car.
My dealer says if he installs the kit then he will warranty the install and ford will not void the warranty on my car.
Please school me.
Just noticed your from Canada. So if have no idea on pricing up there. So take my last post with a grain of salt. I'm my experience the more options you have on your car the more it's going to depreciate in the first few years.
I have always shopped for my cars with resale as being the top...
That's a tough one. Take off wheels and tires are CHEAP. But depends on how much the other stuff is worth. i plan on tint, wheels/tires, and tower, K, and cowl brace. Other then that maybe a roush SC kit.
