OK guys, I got my issue finally and the rendering is in it! Hopefully you guys dig it and was worth the wait. Other than my logo and the copyright at the bottom this is the rendering in the July issue of Muscle Mustangs and Fast Fords.
Looking at it I still love it but there's still a couple...
Yes they have. My buddy Evan Smith from Muscle Mustangs magazine pushed me to get it done prior to the NY Auto show. I shot it off to him and he did in fact show it to Ford. Only 2 comments are - the drop down on the nose was just a little too aggressive and maybe just some fine tuning on the...
This is just a photochop of an existing Ford Evos concept sketch. As a matter of fact I think the sketch wasn't modified and only color added and then signed by the colorist. If I had done the original black and white sketch and saw someone color it and then sign their name to it I'd be pretty...
I'm working on some S197 parts now. All I can say since they aren't in production yet. Also can't mention who I'm doing them for. I did do a ton of new Challenger parts as well as worked closely with the Nickey Chicago guys on their Camaros. Finally getting to do a lot more Mustang projects.
I'd be happy to. Until then you can visit this site. In the middle of rebuilding a new web page. to the right of the large "PORTFOLIO" graphic there are 3 more tabs for "DESIGN", "PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT", and "ILLUSTRATION". I've actually combined all three and am currently working on a graphic...

My rendering is 100% from scratch. I started with nothing anyone else did - reason being is that personally I haven't seen anything I really liked yet.

Here's something I did before anyone had seen anything on the new 2010 Camaro. I put together a very quick concept rendering for Popular...
I cracked up when I saw this - was wondering if someone was going to do this LOL. Nice try - close!

The silver Saleen concept isn't that close to my concept actually. I'm as anxious to show it as you want to see it.
Everyone has a different opinion and likes different things and that's cool. It is a public forum for anyone to express their own opinions and ideas. I will say though that their are better ways to give criticism - in a more positive way even if you disagree. Personally I see other's renderings...
Yep no side scoops. However - I do have a provision for adding one into the existing design I completed. Maybe for the version I post here it will have a bolt-on side scoop for the more diehard retro guys. I'm of the mind that if something isn't functional - especially a scoop - it really...
Alright guys, I spoke on the cell phone with my buddy Evan Smith editor of MM&FF this evening around 5:20 pm. He confirmed with me on the phone that it is in fact definately in the July issue. Evan and the MM&FF magazine gang have been very good to me in the past and I've been a fan of the...
Hey guys - sorry it's not in the June issue. I was bummed too. I texted the editor tonight asking if it would be in the July issue for sure. If he couldn't guarantee it then I said I will want to post it. I'll talk to him tomorrow.:(
Personally - and it's just my opinion but a "full fastback" would make the car look much too heavy in the rear. The 1969 Mustang is my all time favorite but on the new cars the rear quarters are just too tall. Proportionally it just doesn't work. They brought the roofline all the way back on the...
So I am waiting to get a text back from MM&FF magazine to see if my new render will be in the June issue out next week. Until I hear back - here's a teaser...It's very aggressive and much cleaner than any of the renders out there. I don't know why people keep using the separated rear quarter...
Yeah I will post the new GT500 Render here - maybe I'll have to even do a couple color versions too. Thanks on the 25th Anny render for MM&FF. It's actually an older one I did years ago that I just changed up a little for the magazine. I want to do something new for that if they'll let me do it.
Man I soooo badly want to post the new render. I spoke with my editor last night to make sure they're going to run the pic in the magazine and they said they are. This sucks for me too because I get instant feedback on the internet.
Anyways, I am going to do a rear view next week! That I will...
I wouldn't duplicate it on the Mustang - I'm just saying I'm inspired by it and i think there's a way of doing something similar to it on the Mustang so it says Mustang :)
I'll just have to draw it now! LOL
I've always loved the Vanquish - it's muscular with beautiful clean flowing lines. They always seem to nail the rear ends on those cars perfectly too. If you look at how the rear wing/kick up flows around the tail and back of the car - THAT'S sort of where I think the Mustang could go. I HATE...
Thanks for the awesome welcome guys. I've already been PMing back and forth with jStang about the renderings I've been doing and I think I'd be fine with sharing my sketches, thoughts, etc. on where I think the Mustang might be headed as far as styling. I've been a Mustang freak since the mid...
