They get get big so fast. The thing I like about my Wheaton is they do keep a lot of how they were as a puppy. Willo still gets the zoomers at 11 years old. It's so funny.

Our girls decided they wanted one each, and I get the job of keeping an eye on them whilst they clean the cage :

Wow! Just read up on this guy, not making me want to visit Australia any time soon lol
In that case...
Have you ever thought about going to Costa Rica? It's the most economically and politically stable country in the Central American isthmus. They have a lot of pickpocket level petty crime, and very little violent crime.
Costa Rica might have even more biodiversity than the countries on either side of them.
When that land was forming, Costa Rica was the last bit of land to rise out of the ocean, so once it was stable plants and animals moved in from the North and South American sides.

That biodiversity includes crocodiles that have lots of fish to eat, so on land they are fat, dumb and happy and will probably leave you alone.
It also includes the eyelash viper, and the fer-de-lance... 😅

The eyelash viper is a colorful little snake that has strong venom, and will use ALL of it on you.

The fer-de-lance (known locally as "terciopelo") has a large "defensive radius" and, where most snakes would feel your footsteps through the ground and flee from the threat, the fer-de-lance goes toward the threat to check it out. I've seen one strike at a truck on the road.

Other threats to your health and safety include the monkeys...
