1.75 or 2.25.. Correct backspacing to run a 15x3.5 skinny on a s550 mustang??

I'm wanting to run a 15 inch skinny on the front of my Gen 3 mustang, what is the correct backspacing to get? I know the 17x4.5 calls for 1.75 but not 100% sure on the 15x3.5

Will a 15” wheel even clear the calipers out front? I recall back in the S197 days of hearing people grind down calipers to clear the wheels for proper fitment.

A 15" wheel will not clear the calipers.
