Carlisle Ford Nationals 2026

I'm sure they base it all on the early entries. We (21-23 Mach 1s) have been getting a little smaller each year it seems. Of course, it gives us twice as many trophy opportunities and I think the group size for each part was not that far off from many of the other Mustang groups on the show field. Doing the judging this year was a hike even though we didn't seem to have as many classes to cover as last year. Using the app to find some of the classes was a lifesaver.

You were a judge? Or did all participants cast votes? I can't recall how it works.

All participants got a ballot, but the ballots seem to be geared towards a certain target audience based on your class. For example, I did not get to vote for any other S550 except the other Machs and California specials. Other categories on my ballot were the boss, and some older models in the Redfield, really strange how they put that all together.

Also, I wanted to do this, but thought everyone would think I was weird, but thought it would be kind of cool to get everyone who was a 6G member that we could find together for one group picture and then have people guess who is who based on their 6G names. Oh well, weird or not, opportunity lost.

Next year. I wasn't able to make it this year, but that's not a bad idea. Set up a M6G tent in one of the Showfield areas.

Final count of registered vehicles at the show for 2026 was 3538. Just shy of a record but still an amazing turnout. The current record was 2024 with 3572 vehicles.

First Time attending the Carlisle Ford Nationals for us. Did not stay for the parade, but we enjoyed the events and met some great people.
