Very first start up on the RPG long block, Calimer Stage 4 MT-82, Fore Innovations triple pump return fuel system with ID1300’s, and On3 top mount twin turbo 67/66’s. Topping it off with Wengerd tuning on 93 and eventually E85.

Wow! You have a 4-digit machine waiting to be broken in. Nice setup!

Stock heads and cams?

It’s an RPG long block that came with CNC ported heads, nice valve train, and because I changed routes custom ground cams for a blower.

I did have a VMP Odin kit I was going to install, but later decided to sell it off and go turbo, but had already purchased the motor. Not the end of the world and if I get bored at some point I’ll get a set of turbo cams.

I will get some. I ran into two issues so far.

I bought the Cervini’s side exhaust because I never see anyone with it (probably due to price) and I think hearing the turbo’s by the door will sound pretty damn good. However I couldn’t install them due to the size of the down pipes being much larger than the factory piece it should have bolted up too. I can still drive it, but I feel like I’m getting too much exhaust creeping up into the cabin.

Also relocated the battery to the truck and was going to use the factory battery location for my catch cans. Oh what a rookie mistake……. I have -12 an fittings coming off of both Motion Raceworks valve covers and going to the catch cans that exhaust to the atmosphere. Right in front of the A/C box…. And they smoke like a chimney…. It royally sucks right now to ride in it. I knew they might smoke a tad, but with the motor built for boost they smoke a lot.

So right now I’m looking at the Fathouse Performance catch tank that sits in that same location and has a -12 on top for venting. I think I’m going to route that line clear to the back bumper to vent.

We definitely need more videos of this thing

So I ended up ordering the Fathouse Performance Antigravity Catch Can Battery Kit, just without the battery, as mine is in the trunk. Trevor there was very helpful and said most of their customers route the exhaust lines into the area where the windshield wipers are and then over to the driver's side and then back down and under the car to vent. That seems to be far enough away from the freshair inlet for the A/C hopefully. Fingers crossed I can get it by Friday so I can install it over the weekend.

Fighting some fuel issues now. Wengerd is saying that is looks like the fuel system is staying in open loop and not closing which is causing some break up when I get into a little boost. Not sure what the culprit is yet, but I did some datalogging for them and I’ll pull the spark plugs tomorrow and see how they look.

Spent 3hrs at the alignment shop getting everything setup since everything was completely pulled apart. Of course it had to start raining when I pulled up to the shop
