Alright so i finally got to drive it home, SPEED WORKS and also learned just a few small things haha, well for starters, gas gauge dont work so gotta dig into the wiring (shouldve been plug and play cause same pins from s550 to s650 but its obviously something isnt communicating), traction button no longer works, drive modes dont work, steering mode doesnt work, um steering wheel buttons work like the s550 however i dont have the menu to access other features besides the normal menu up and down lol, cruise control doesnt work, apparently s650s have rear seat weight sensors... and rear seat belt notifications...? Plus a lot of features my base eco does not have like lane assist, etc. But besides the basic functions, works perfectly, also have the screen ziptied for now so i can actually say I have a digital dash now and its official lmao and the funny thing is, this is my daily :cwl: now time to buy the center screen and the module for the ac and the radio to get the functions for the cluster working! Stay tuned for more DIY on the S650 interior swap

Update also forgot, all headlight switch modes are working and compatible with s550 switch since i am still utilizing s550 harness, bcm etc, it shows you what mode the headlight switch is on the cluster, and the dim buttons work as well as the turn signals but figure i throw that in there
Pretty cool and you’re making great strides with the upgrades from S550 to S650 that you’re doing - a definitive Pioneer for sure!

So the S650 flat display panel works as we see in your images, like it brings up the S650 gauges etc? Can you choose the same gauges as seen in the S650? Are you going to add the secondary panel to the right of the primary gauge cluster?

Pretty wild achievements!

Heck yea haha! I got a bonus from work that I'm waiting for but should get it within 2 weeks, I plan on buying the center screen and all the modules for the sync 4 system and hvac, the rear caliper conversion, and rest of the dash, this is what I'll need to access the gauges on the s650 cluster, I can only access basic info on the cluster as of now, but thats it, I somehow accessed the engineering settings today spamming the ok button to get rid of the warning messages lol, I did acquire the forscan codes from the S650, and have the S550 to compare similarities and differences that I'm gonna try in a few minutes, also printed out 3 packets of as built data, 1 packet is of my Base 19 Eco Manual, 2nd is a 2024 Base Eco Auto, and 3rd is a 2024 Base GT Manual since eco is no longer manual, I have to steal some coding from the GT to get rid of the prndl, however I have not confirmed yet if I even need the s650 as built data because theoretically (trying to keep it simple terms), the s650 cluster in the s550 is communicating with S550 as built data, however it could also throw me an error on forscan trying to connect to a IPC where its trying to read a S550 and not a S650 so will keep ya guys in the loop

Update, cruise control works! It just doesn't display on the cluster, got scared when i hit the button out of curiousity and was playing with it and didn't realized it was set to 67mph when i was already engine braking to 55 lol it sped up when i hit resume but works still

Lots of good news. So forscan successfully recognized the IPC, I was able to use the built in forscan configurator, and i removed a lot of the reinstalled features and also fixed my gas issue, and one more thing, im gonna have to jump in on the mustang 7g forums for forscan because the PRNDL was not able to remove, all gear selections are turned off etc. But no luck, also turned off the back seat belt chime and now the seat belt message doesn't show up, also you'll see how many times i had to fix my mileage cause if i input 83000 on forscan, it'll put like 82792, so luckily i remembered that from my last cluster and got it exactly to the decimal what my mileage is suppose to be from when i first installed it! As for the fuel gauge issue that is now fixed, I guess the S650 fuel level input is from the PCM so i changed it to the IPC and works

Heres all the warning messages gone and fixed odometer

Trans temp gone
1000030417.webp

Added the fog light option since S650 is not equipped

(i do have a check engine light-high flow cats 🤫) battery light im still figuring out, airbag is due to quick release steering wheel, need to fix the resistor).
Heres the before- ya cant tell but i had like 7 messages for front camera, blind spot, lane assist, forward collision, adaptive cruise control etc.

Took my old center console out and the parking brake, luckily everywhere i park if flat lol, so time to start leaving it in gear 😭 its okay though, I have the new console in but only pressed fit for now, not bolted but everything lines up as in terms of mounting, ignore the nasty cut on the dash, thought of cutting it out untill i found out the console front lip was getting caught on my reverse lockout lever :cwl: dash is trash anyways once its out (base model) no one need that and I ain't sitting on a huge part waiting for it to sell either lol

Alright so i didn't really post much about the center console but i mean technically someone could 3d print a cubby and make it work for a s650 console to a s550 cause honestly doesnt look too bad :giggle: so bolt holes line up inside the center console, and it almost lines up in the front"it could but I'd have to spread the leather in the front to make it fit (not the plan but could), you can also see with the s550 center console mat, the s650 has just a tiny bit more width and is almost flat and deeper, also has a light I had no idea about till i put the nuts in lol, cup holder also seems to hold drinks more firm but it feels so nice and definitely looks way more premium

Alright so huge thanks to rugedraw on the 7g forums, I will update this post if any luck getting rid of the PRNDL, they posted a certain line that with the as built data i have from the S650 eco auto, S650 GT manual and my 2019 Eco Manual, line 720-03-02 like they said x*xx xxxx
Both my eco manual and gt are both * set to A where as the eco is set to 8, so will change in the morning and see if it works!!
1000030554.webp

This is a note to future me lol - when installing apim, center screen and sync4, check coding 7D0-01-02 check and change xxxx x*xx xx-- to manual * :

Update : Yay? or Nay? : YAY ITS MANUAL NOW LOL

Switches and steering wheel harness have been ordered, I found a center display super cheap, just waiting for better photos to be provided from the seller but may pull the trigger asap as well as the other radio modules and hvac! Luckily the switches were pretty affordable and the only ones on the market so kinda had to jump on it, also i already have the clockspring and turn signal and wiper stocks, came with the steering shaft

I rented a s650 this work trip. It'd be cool if there was a way to make the s550 digital dash to have the same displays as the s650 dash.

Alright so I ordered the center screen today, was gonna go through ebay but they weren't responding to messages so I called and the guy i spoke with was very helpful and sent me photos, I was skeptical to give payment over the phone, but read the reviews, he said its suppose to get delivered tomorrow to ny shop for free (business address) vs residential I'd have to pay for shipping and it would take 2-3 days, anyways It wouldve been 350 with taxes, only paid $199 w/ free next day shipping, so pretty much excited lol, I'm ordering everything for the center screen, so far what I found is for the HVAC module, PR3T-18C612-BD is any model with Single Cluster, PR3T-18C612-AD is dual screens.
1000030638.webp

For the APIM, I have found that the RR3T-14G670-BFE w/o nav is the big single screen while SR3T-14G670-BME is for Dual Screens w/o nav, research is confusing but is what I gathered from listings that have vins, I scored an awesome deal from the same vender I got the screen from, someone listed the 2024 APIM as a S550 and improper part name so managed to score a S650 APIM for $80!! THEY GO FOR WELL OVER $200-$500
1000030644.webp

For the Radio Receiver, PR3T-18D890-DLH is from single big screen and PR3T-18D890-RLH is Dual Screens.

Alright guys so I am on my way right now for one of the biggest and almost last item for the dash swap, I was hesitant because I was originally inquiring on a dash pad on ebay that finally popped up and just listed locally about an hour away, I noticed it didn't include the dash bar that the whole dash mounts too... so It was originally listed for $750 for only the dash pad, they messaged me asap and said they could do $250 for the dash bar and unable to ship it due to weight and size, so i was like oh perfect!! Better then buying a whole dash that comes with the bar and parts i dont need and having to pick it up at the port cause its a freight size item, so i was expecting the total to be like 1k for everything... until they updated the listing to 1k for just the dash pad so i asked pricing for everything together and they said $1300.... so Im only picking up the frame lol, i can find the dash pad later to complete it but i dont need it, I'll keep you updated
