I sent TJ a PM explaining the issue a few of us seem to be having with the Steeda bar.
I got an email from Steeda this morning after posting a review on the STB. Replied that it was discussed with TJ via PM here but nothing moved forward to resolve the issue.

I see that yours would measure 12” on The height , 9” worked for me considering I’m 165 lbs. soaking wet !

I've received nothing in response to both a PM to TJ and an email directly to the salesperson at Steeda. All I asked for was the ability to swap their bar for the Ford Performance kit that is actually less expensive.

Yeah, if these fail, you probably have bigger problems. Like your car being crushed by an elephant. They also allow you to get all the wheels off the ground (see above) for exhaust work and the like. I've also used them like jack stands to take the wheels off. Easy to make, versatile, and rock solid. The one problem is that they weigh a ton. Mine are about 45-50 lbs each.
A couple of questions, a) do these work with the jacking rails, and b) how do you get the car up on there? Seems like a LONG way to jack it up. Maybe it's just the image, but it just looks awful high.

I'm not going to say I've lifted a terribly parked Malibu (5th gen) by myself. I will say that my energy (and 4 other guys) got the job done.
I just let my wife do the heavy lifting.

Waxed it. First time ever. Normally it gets Griot's Paint Sealant and it looks great, but I wanted to see what some carnuba would do.

Washed it, applied some Merlin's magic elixr (reload + ecH20 + distilled water)

Also aligned the tailpipes. I had my borla xpipe replaced due to it having a crack and every time someone touches the exhaust it comes back all effed.
