Ideally a heated garage is best. Cold is not going to harm your car, extended periods of moisture will.

ANd in the winter it's super dry so...
In my particular case, moisture becomes an issue when the weather warms and the air comes into contact with the floor that is at freezing temperatures. This happens when the garage door is opened on a day above 40 degrees F. The 1st year I stored my car without tarps covering the floor, the underside of the car got so wet it was dripping off.
Moisture also comes from the concrete as well. Remember concrete is porous.

Remember concrete is porous.
Seal it with a 2 part catalyst epoxy paint. Makes for a dry, harder, moppable, low dust, and less chance of mold or mildew floor than playing with tarps.
Not expensive - even Home Depot sells the DIY rusolium kits for little $. 15 years after treating my basement floor with it that surface is dry as a desert bone year round despite being 9' above seal level that is often rain saturated soil & sand. Of course if you have gutters dumping water right next to the structure you should fix that 1st but still do both.

Another project for spring.

I put mine in a family member's garage that has an extra space when they snow bird. It's insulated and attached but there's no real heat source going into the garage. I just don't mess with stuff too. I don't start it up or anything like that because it's not going to be driven anyway. Just check the oil, pump the tires up, fill the gas tank, cover it up, let her sleep.

No had to pull the GT500 deal, change in circumstances and tired of waiting. I think the 350R will be the better value for me.
i’d of dome the same thing. First year of anything is never good (me being ex Ford mastertech)
