I'm painting my brake calipers this weekend, and I plan to check my brake pads, axle nuts, and wheel bearings while I have easy access to them. Is there anything else I should look at while I have the wheels off and in the air?

Not anything to check, but may as well do a good cleaning of the wheel barrels and the fender liner while you have them off.

Oh yea, once I had the wheels off that was a must.
One of my wheels has some wiggle, but I don't have a 32mm socket to check if it's the axle nut so now I'm waiting for Pep Boys to open so I can pick one up. Hopefully it's that and not the wheel bearing, but it does look like that's covered under Powertrain Warranty.

The Ford axle nuts (at least the current ones shown in the parts list) have pre-applied thread locking compound. If you retorque them (and if they move at all) you break the locking bond and the nuts are no longer locked. Probably not what we want.
