Order 0001, 0002,0003,0004,0005,0006,0007,0008? Those are not order numbers. There is a letter and several numbers. In this case it is R705 with a dealer code of F27414. Reference below someones order....

I agree, not trying to argue, but there was absolute chaos in '16 when anybody could order any allocated car. People were pissed off and they fixed it so you cant order an allocated car unless you have the allocations. Dealers were made aware of which allocations they had before the banks opened. You cant get a confirmed order without an allocation.

The DORA is just a receipt of the order, it has nothing to do with what will be allocated.

I was just talking with the sales manager at my dealer and he told me that Ford only issued one "golden ticket" allocation in the Charlotte sales region, which my dealer is located in. That brings the odds of getting CFTP option car pretty low in my neck of the woods and I am sure that one car will have an ADM through the roof!

Just doing some quick math based on a previous post and with Ford having ~3100 dealerships in the U.S. and assuming that ~3000 of these dealerships are willing to pay to play that would equate to ~1170 CFTP cars that would be automatically allocated to 39% of the ~3000 interested dealerships.

With the FRAP only producing ~1250 CFTP cars in total for the 2020MY that would leave ~80 CFTP cars for the Canadian market.

If your dealership is one of the 39% of dealerships that are allocated a CFTP car then you be best to be number one on their order list.

:)

The allocation comes first. It is awarded to the dealer based upon sales. Next comes the order with order number. Next comes the DORA. Then the order is pulled by the Ford rep for build assignment. This isn't rocket science

I would think in a big market like Charlotte there had to have been dealers that sold more than 4 in Shelby's in the two model years. When I saw the image from Jwhite I emailed my dealer to see if I could change my order from the base model to add the painted stripes and CFTP but they have only sold 2 Shelby's in two years.

Beyond all of this. Your dealer should have already been sent an email detailing his specific allocations and if they are getting any CFTP at all. I suggest you ask to see it. A dealer telling you that the "might not" get an allocation at this point, is suspect. Telling you that they put in two orders just in case...to me..says that they do not have or intend to sell you a CFTP package.

Your missing the point I am making, of course the allocations come first lol. How else are these dealers able to put the orders in the system? I am speaking about the CF pack option. The system is open to enter what ever a customer has the salesmen put in, hence how my guy could do this multiple times over. No one knows which dealers across the US will for sure get a 100% CF allocated build until again scheduling starts in Dearborn.

Show me proof a dealer getting this information of a "CF" allocation? There is none lol.

My order has dealer codes etc with my CF option added, so therefore I have confirmation the allocation has been successful. But again the system with my dealer did not specify nor reject the CF option. It was taken as a regular order. So goes the same with all 3k dealers ordering systems, they can input any option and it will not reject it. Why? They have been allocated at least 1 GT500 order. No one will know if that 1 order is a CF optioned car until Ford reviews the system and picks the 1,250 out of 5k orders based on sales volumes etc etc. But it has not happened yet! Will not until scheduling is about to or already begun. This will be an email or verbal confirmation from their regional rep that gets word from Ford themselves. But show me proof otherwise please.

Show me proof that dealers haven't.
That is impossible because there is no proof lol. It to me is a sales pitch to demand more money. This so called "CF confirmed allocation" is a good way to get a buyer to commit to the order.

What you showed me is that your salesman had a list of stuff and no submitted orders (just order numbers listed 001, 002, 003, etc) not real order numbers. You list was a sham. I do not suggest that you are trying to deceive anyone, to the contrary, I don't think you know what you are talking about. Again, I've been doing this a long time now and I've never heard of you or your history of Shelby buying purchases.
