Wow that sucks man. Whipple will take care of you. They stand behind their product 100% and will make things right. Best of luck to you and your build.
I know they are a great company! Part of the reason why I went with their blower.

I hope they help me with the extra expenses in rackin' up LOL.

I agree that the numbers are low. And sorry to hear about yourtune issues.I'm sure Whipple will get it all sortedout for you. Everything everyone has said makes alot of sense. The dyno graph is telling you that something is wrong. The TQ curve is totally off and the fact that the power falls off like it do tells of an issue as well. I'll post a pic of my dyno graph to compare. This run is stock stage 2 kit in my 17 GT on 94 pump with a Palm Beach Dyno tune. Although the power is higher, the TQ curve was the exact same with the whipple tune. Also I made 681WHP on the whipple tune on 94 pump.

Where do you suppose aftermarket tunes are finding power over the whipple cal? I’ve logged my whipple cal quite a bit. It runs the timing at the threshold of detonation, limited to 18 deg max (but you won’t typically get there without octane booster or race gas), so it looks like there isn’t much opportunity for more ignition timing. The a/f ratio starts around 11.5 but toggles richer for cat protect. The only thing left is cam timing correct? Do we think whipple isn’t optimizing cam timing?

Fwiw, olasaunt made several 138 mph passes on the whipple cal, 3.625 pulley, and octane booster with no other mods. Do we think it would have gone much quicker on the same fuel but an aftermarket cal?
I know with my 17GT, stage 2 whipple kit on 94 pump, my car made 681WHP at 7400RPM. The timing at 7400RPM was 19* which I thought was agressive but the car wasn't knocking and kept adding timing.
Then I got a Palm Beach Dyno tune and I made 709whp with less timing up top. 18* at 7500rpm. I looked through the log and cam timing is different for sure. I added longtubes and a 3.6 pulley and on 94 made 803whp and they didn't adjust the tune at all...lol...I did pull it to 8000rpm to crack the 800whp number and at 8000rpm it was at 19* timing. I'll never change gears there very often only at 7500rpm and I was at 18* there at 798whp.

get a PBD tune and you will see well over 700whp
I like the sound of that!

Still need Whipple to get the car running first. Not a common problem.

The car not starting?
Unfortunately, the tune was not complete and put my car in some sort of limp mode.

Whipple says this is the first time they have seen this issue on an 18'

I was supposed to put the car on a shipping truck today but, it won't even start :(
Based on the above quote it appeared there was a starting issue plus limp mode had the car sent to Whipple.

Yes. While loading the second tune, everything shut down.
Because the tune was only ~6% loaded, the car went in a limp mode of some sort.
Needed a "forced tune" to get things going.

Car was "forced" the new tune. Runs great! Don't care about the #'s TBH.
