Go with the PAC 1234x valve springs and don’t look back. They are as big as you can go and maintain the vct’s.
Thanks man .
I am putting together a sleeved 5.0/ GT heads to replace the 5.2 that broke in my Hellion car ... so I can sell the damn car !
I had the MMR upgraded springs for the GT 350 heads in that motor but it looked like I was seeing valve float at 17 psi . Not sure if it’s got anything to do with it but seemed to be more pronounced after I swapped the GT 350 intake .
The 5.2 motor was making almost 1100 whp at only 17 psi but I think it will need much more to make similar with the 5.0
IIRC it took 21 psi when I had an alluminator/GT heads before to make 1000 whp
How about the trick flow springs ?
They are a little cheaper but what’s another $170 for the PAC springs when I consider the $$$$ I have already put in to this damn car .

i would disagree, we do more supercharging on these than anyone. our #1 seller is vortech and paxton, followed by whipple, then procharger. but there are many of all of them out there.
we are a top dealer for all 3 manufacturers.

it really comes down to driving style, how your using the car, etc...

as far as "down low", i've never gotten hung up on that, because when you go wot, even from a dead stop, your below 6000 rpms, for maybe 1 seconds.

feel free to give me a ring and we can discuss wants, needs, goals and help you make the right decision for what your doing

These make me happpppy!

Anyone got results yet? :)
I pulled 551 on bad 93 gas that was knocking and pulling all of my timing lol. Still ironing out the tune with Lund and taking logs on the street and Pro Dyno when I get the chance. I got good feedback and with the final revision I’m hoping to see mid 600’s on my small P1SC daily driver. Thanks for a quality, practically bolt on solution for forced induction.

Im taking my car into a local shop to start the removal of my Procharger and begin the install of a Whipple. 3.5 years with the P1SC-1 and some initial issues from early kit design but it was a good system. Served me well and made a lot of memories with it. Had a Novi2200 before that on a 3 valve so centris have been what I known and feel comfortable with.
