As title states. I've signed the papers on it but the car won't be here for at least another day or two (flatbed transport from Dallas). Found out about OASIS reports yesterday and had salesman pull it. The second time 12/29/18 is when it was traded in. Wondering if this is tick related? Anyone know about what was replaced and what I should be looking for when it comes in. I can back out of the deal if I find anything wrong.

So it was throwing codes and the check engine light was on after less than 1300 miles. That's a pretty big red flag but maybe they're offering a deal you can't pass up? Previous owner dumped it for a reason.

I can walk away. Would just prefer it show up and drive 100%. I'm going to drive the piss out of it on the test drive. Car is a 2018 300a pp1 a10 w/ corsa cat back exhaust.

Look for this decal on the car.

LOL it's not a buy back. The dude traded it in according to the carfax. Where would one find this sticker on the vehicle, were they to look?

I think it would be somewhere inside the engine bay. Maybe on the inside of the hood? I wouldn't trust carfax. I recently found a member from the buyback thread's lemon up for sale. Carfax report was clean lol.

Hmmm no shit. I noticed it was traded in with 1,187 miles but now has 1,300. Wonder if the extra mileage was from trying to fix the problems with it? Or maybe from people test driving it and not buying it hahahahaha.

I would go over it with a fine tooth comb and take a very thorough test drive. Listen carefully to it when cold and warmed up. I would be skeptical of a vehicle dumped by the owner after 1300 miles.

The owner already modded it and still dumped it. It is a 300a so it lacks the drive modes as well as some other nice features. If you buy it, it would need to be at a very low price.

Looks like the last ro performed it had 1187 miles on it. Looks like they replaced the harness on visit 1 for pin issues....and visit 2 performed r&r on vct solenoid. Both visit were spurred by ck engine codes. Didn't see anything else in that attachment
For it to have 1300. On it now is not out of place at all.
Give it a drive.

various stages of crap
Id buy it. Loose pin at 1 connection so they replaced whole harness as precaution. Then second was under a tsb. Which means it is a common issue and Ford is addressing it. Id say go for it!

Nothing in that is troubling. It had a few simple issues that were quickly repaired

Yep, no talk in the report that there was an engine noise/tick/rattle complaint.

But OP should definately listen very carefully to the engine from cold start-up to fully hot, and especially listen for the 2K RPM rattle with everything off in the cabin while driving through the 2000 ~ 2500 PRM range.

Sales guy called me this afternoon and said car was there (had no info for me at noon today?!). So I ran out there. Car was cold, valvetrain was super quiet both above and below engine. Let it idle for a few minutes, then drove it for prob 10 miles. It drove fantastic. Handled great w/ the pp suspension + Michelins. Felt very strong on a few pulls on the freeway. Love that you can be cruising then just stab the pedal for if to drop into the right gear to accelerate. Listened again for sounds and it’s super quiet. Going to continue to drive it spiritedly for the next 7 days or 250 miles and make sure it’s 100%. I paid $31.8k + TTL - 2018 300a pp1 a10 1,300 miles and car back Corsa exhaust.

PS - the Corsa exhaust sounds great in person. I think it’s the sports bc it’s not crazy loud but definitely growls when you put your foot in it.
