Found I was having some siphoning issues with my meth system, added a solenoid.

Also replaced my post-meth IAT sensor which went bad. Understandable from spraying methanol on it for a year lol.

Thank you for the info! How did you discover this was an issue?
No problem. When I opened the meth lines they would drip excessively and more importantly when I took off the pipe there was methanol pooling up in the pipe. I could see the bottom inside of the pipe had been stained from it so it has been siphoning/dripping there for awhile. Also cant confirm yet but I suspect it may have been dripping down from the pipe in the intercooler onto the MAF because I had hard starting issues sometimes.

Upped my meth nozzle sizing, now running two 10GPH nozzles.

Heat wrapped my intake pipe, mostly to help eliminate possible false knock from contact with the A/C line. Maybe it will also keep the engine bay heat out and the meth cooling in.

Snapped a supercharger belt on the way home. Top of 3rd gear at WOT heard a loud as hell POP! and sh*t my pants lol.

Luckily with stage 2 was able to drive it home ok. Exhaust sounded much different with no blower lol. To be fixed in the next few days... Doesn't look like anything else is damaged and the blower pulley spins smoothly.

The sides were okay. At the point it snapped one half is a straight break the other side is "stepped" down thinner a few times.

Great read very impressed with your abilities. Not understanding the need for so many watts (I could play close to concert levels with my 125 W home system) I guess it is a car stereo thing.

Sucks about the belt what are your options to prevent that from happening?

Again awesome stuff and great read.

Thank you! Appreciated.

Not too worried about the belt, I've heard of supercharger belts breaking semi-often so I dont think it's that unusual of an occurrence. I could be wrong though. This belt had 30k or more on it and its under alot of stress with the small pulley and the wastegate. If I start breaking them regularly then I will be concerned, all the pulleys looked good though.

There's definitely a huge difference between home and car wattage for sure. I believe home systems are much more efficient and generally dont need anywhere near the same wattage for the same sound. My home system that I just got rid of a few weeks ago was a total of under 700W and could get loud enough for the house to sound like a club from outside, rattle things off shelves, etc. The sub was around 120W in a custom huge enclosure with a cheap sub in it. Compare that to a cheap 120W car subwoofer and you'll probably barely vibrate the mirrors. Not 100% sure why that is to be honest, I'm guessing efficiency between the amp and speakers as well as listening environment.

Fixed my belt, looks pretty lol the old belt was dirty.

Took some logs last night as well to make sure timing and all is good and then I will be planning a Dyno appointment.

Also added some suspension parts to my wishlist. Will be doing the RLCA bearing and toe knuckle bearing sometime this summer. Not looking forward to install but would be nice to get it even more planted on the ground. I have a few bucks to spend so I figured that's the best place to put it.

After procrastinating for a year I finally reinstalled my Xlume GT badge.

Tackled my RLCA bearing install. The job was not fun at all, but even after only a day with it I can feel a substantial difference from it. Overall glad I did it. Will probably post some thoughts/review in a thread once I get more time with it.

Along the way I found that someone stripped my shock bolts on the passenger side so I had to throughbolt it instead (with red loctite) and my torque wrench took a shit and I snapped the lower vertical link bolt and had to replace it. All is said and done now though. Next on the list is GT350R sway bar and new brakes.

How is the NVH with the new parts? What brake system are you looking at?
