Why are Guards Green's so expensive?

Would have been nice if Guard Green was available for the 19 GT/C, I would have chose that over VB, but unfortunately Ford really messed with customers this time around, 19 GT/CS are only available with the simplest colors... so I went with Ingot Silver. I might be a little bit miffed if 20 GT/CS et you have the entire color spectrum, like they pretty much did in 16-17

Not sure, but Guard Green is still my favorite S550 color. Crimson is right behind that.

Sounds like you got a solid deal. Sometimes I wonder if they reduce the price if the car is modded. I know some won't buy a modded car. I'd say just do your due diligence and make sure everything checks out and you're good to go.

i don't know if it's rare but it was there for 15-16. If anything the single year colors (platinum white/grabber blue) are rarer.

magnetic is in my opinion the finest color available for '19 but i wish guard green was offered. i LOVE that color

They need to bring out the Gotta Have It Green

Grabber Lime is kind of green, Last MY there was Need for green. I think besides 2017 there was always a green option. As well you can go with Bullet and get whatever the name of that green is. Someone knows the production numbers for Guard Green cars ? I wonder if Guard Green is rarer than Grabber Blue ?

We need a dark green for those who do not want a Bullitt (A10). My 66 Fairlane GTA was Ivy Green. This changed to Dark Moss Green in 67. And, of course, Highland Green in 68.

This is something else that I noticed; Guard on GT's seems to be even rarer. Most Guard cars I have seen have been V6 or EcoBoost cars.

I also ordered my car, but mostly to get a Guard car with the silver PP wheels, and the saddle interior.

Funny enough, what made me get a guard was seeing one of my old coworkers 2015 guard v6 mustang. Fell in love with the car and color once I saw it. This was when the s550 was still relatively new and rare to see on the roads too so it blew me away when I saw it for the first time. It was the first s550 i saw up close and personal lol.

ended up buying my guard ecoboost two years later

i've only really seen like 1 GT Guard in person. Nowadays I rarely see Guards.
