Some views of the install of the MMD Orange Fury (NL) painted hood vents. Car still in the garage from this weeks snow storm so best can do for finished look. No drilling required. These vents claim to help pull under heat out while in motion.

I have not had it in the sunlight but looks really good to me. I did spend time to try and discriminate a color difference but did not see any.

On a rough scale I would say 9+ out of 10 by my view. Maybe even better than the Roush prepainted side scoops.

Can you see them from the drivers seat and are you going to put turn signals in them? :sunglasses:

Depends on how tall you sit in the seat. I thought about adding turn signal LEDs but probably will just go as is.

Color match looks perfect. To each his own, but the stock ones seem nicer to me than these aftermarket ones. The black "vents" have a very nice contrast on that color.

Cosmetic mods are always a personal choice. I am thinking these hood scoops compliment the side scoops well.

Full car pictures will hopefully show the similarity.

Can always go back to OEM look as the hood is not modified.

So far I think I am liking it....

I'd like to see these on a Shadow Black car, I dislike the honeycomb that comes stock and really think these may be a great look on an already black car.

They will not fall off. There are bolts and 3m tape to secure them to the hood. No drilling required since the bolts use the factory holes. As a result the OEM vents can be reinstalled and no evidence that they were removed will be left.

Thanks for the good words. The color is actually Orange Fury. The camera may have shifted the color....

Looks good. How's the paint match in person?
Probably just as likely to be better than stock. MMD and Ford paint both the vents at different times and batches of paint than the car. The factory ones are often noticeably different than the car body; same with bumper covers, mirror caps, etc..
