That potenza s007 is a mean looking tire! Might have to try thay one for the street. I have nt555 g2 and like others, spin 1st and let go in 2nd from 4500ish and up.

Edit: s007... $500 a tire, ouch, maybe I like something else. Lol

Im using 305 30 19 Hankook RS4s and they work pretty good on the street once heated up minus 1st gear but would also recommend Michelin MP4S and heard great things about Mickey street S/S as well.

Well first off you CANT have your cake and eat it to!!!
Either you want a tire that will hook, or you want one that last and works in rain.....those two things do not co-exist.
For a tire that will hook there is none better than the MT Street S/S. I can dead hook it on the street with 800 rwhp.
Im running 19 x10s on the rear with 305/35/19's MTs and Nitto 555's on front.
For an all around good tire that will get you dry/wet traction and wear well (not goin to hook on a FI car) then the MPSS/MP4S are about the best option.
There's definitely a better tire and its the ET Street R. These hook up way better than the SS but I don't think they offer it in a 19 or bigger unfortunately

I’m also in the market for a good street tire. Whipple Stage 2 on an 18 is just silly on the stock pp1 tires. 3rd gear is hopeless, while usually 4th hooks. My issue is the car is a true commuter so wet performance and a 10k mile life is required.
You could try the nitto 555r's. Not nearly as sticky as the MT or NTo5r. But offer decent bad weather manners for a drag radial. And they last out to 10k miles tread life.

Just a heads up but Discount Tire has $100 off of a $400 purchase on the Bay right now.

I ran the Nitto 305-35-19 NT05R on the stock PP wheels and they performed well. I got 10k plus out of them. Never had a problem in wet weather but I try to avoid rain. I run MT ET Street R at the track and I am looking for a street drag radial too. I am split between the Nt555R and the MT ET Street SS. I think I am going to get the et street SS 305-45-17

They definitely arent cheap, but they hook like nothing else Ive tried including bfg rivals, pilot SS, pilot sport 4s , eagle f1gs d3, nitto 555, potenza RE-11's

They should last a while longer than almost all drag radials or other tires with comparable grip, and are drivable in the rain. And they look awesome.

My best 0-60 time was improved by about 4 tenths on the street with those I pulled a 4.1 0-60 in my manual 2011 mustang gt that had an intake and tune. I couldnt do that in my 2009 630rwhp cts-v despite it having a better transmission and 200 hp more it would blow the tires off every time on the 1-2 shift with potenza RE-11's, which are actually softer than the s007's.

These also gave me so much confidence in corners even with the solid rear axle on my 2011, the outer tread block is huge and sticky so when you are cornering it just grips.
