I completed my rear end with a full satin paint job of the decklid panel, and taillights. Masking the bars and chrome trim was hell, the final result is worth it!

Nothing. It's at the body shop getting warranty paint work done including a complete hood respray due to a stone chip. Will 3M clear it when done.

How'd you manage to get a warranty respray for rock chips?

Also, make sure to wait a month or so to allow the paint to outgas fully.

Sorry, wasn't very clear in my post. Warranty was for a few other panel rub areas, I paid for the hood respray while they were at it.

Washed it yesterday and put vinyl stipes on the spoiler today. Did a lousy job and got crazy wrinkles on the bottom, but it looks OK from a distance and in pics.

It's been almost 2 years now, and I'm "almost done."
