My eyes are having seizures after reading about this all day and tbh, I think I'm just confusing myself even more. I need longer studs on my 350 as I'm close to sealing a deal on a set of the R wheels. I read several things today and wanted to confirm that 1) Ford only sells the hub/stud assembly as a whole?? and 2) ARP doesn't make a stud long enough to run the R wheels? Or has this changed? The entire hub is pricey. I'd rather just buy the studs if possible. And, are the R rear studs only 2"? How long are the 350 rear studs? Could I just do the fronts or are rears necessary, too? Please help! I need to close my eyes now. lol

It is my understanding that most just buy the hubs. How pricey is pricey? You are buying 10K worth of wheels.

I still have a budget, man. And the set I'm buying aren't $10k. I'm getting a good-ish deal.

Look up MSI racing. They sell quality lugs and nuts. They aren't cheap though. Good luck with that budget.

You need to buy OEM GT350R front hubs or the lugs will be too short. All the aftermarket front studs aren't long enough.

For the rear, the OEM hubs will work of course, and the longest MSI studs look like they're long enough, but just barely. Everything else is at risk of being too short.

Are you sure about the rears? I read last night on Ford Shelby GT350 Owners Facebook group that I'd need front AND rear R hubs... I'd love if I didn't need to buy the rears. :)
Tomster, must have been another Cindy.

Rear hubs show as the same part number for R & non-R GT350s. Only the front hubs are different and they're easy to swap and pretty inexpensive. Cheaper than ARP or MSI studs :)

The studs in the rear are longer, though. That's what I'm being told...

I have the ARP studs on mine and was told I could run the R wheels with them.

It would be wonderful if this was true, but I think there's an error in the parts book. Someone with an R can clear this up pretty quickly though.

Great bear lake ford has them (front hubs) for $117 each. No brainer.

Confusion cleared up. Part numbers are: FR3Z-1109-A and FR3Z-1104-E. For some reason, the fronts are twice as expensive. Cheapest I've found is $493 shipped through Summit. The rears are $270 shipped at Tasca.

I put my VIN number (r model) into the parts page at ford white bear lake page and came up with front hubs at $117 each. Maybe that would explain your budget comment?

It's a no brainer, get new hubs. Good luck.

The prices I quoted above are for all four corners.
