I agree. Alignment dowels will line up the rear subframe Then its just a matter of setting correct toe and camber on the rear.

You are correct. It is too high. I cut out the bottom of the battery box down to the first lower level of the battery box, the exact size of the bottom of the battery, so the battery was captured on the bottom. Then I mounted the battery with large plastic ties. I seached out slightly lower SAE...

That rim damage WAS NOT done backing off the hoist.

Who knows... all this surging and kicking and bucking may have been a contributing factor to the clutch and transmission failures.

I don't know if anyone mentioned this, but properly installed helicoil threads are stronger than original. Just think of it... aluminum vs steel threds.
