Gen 3 12:1 and 94 octane for 800 whp+ would be risky, I would use race fuel or E85.
You have the ability to switch pulleys and fuels depending on the needs.
I don't know about "power" it will depend on a lot of factors, but should be capable of close to 1000. I'm running 3.125 (16 pound on E85) 6rib on 11:1 Gen 2 Whipple and trapped 142MPH at 9.6 ET on 1975 DA in the not drag friendly weather here in Puerto Rico and plan to drop to 2.85-2.75 as soon...
The big gains are In the transmission tuning and torque management. I actually made a little less power with the PBD tune but improved 0.4 on my ET and trapped 4 MPH higher.
Went to the track yesterday and just changed my axle back.
Previous setup 1-3/4" long tubes 3" free all the way to the axle back.
2.5" adapters, stock pipes with GT500 single tip mufflers.
3.25" pulley on E85 @ 2199 DA
1.42 60' , 6.38 1/8@110 , 9.92 1/[email protected]
Now changed axle back for 3" no...
The same happened to me a couple of years ago on a Whipple Gen2 @ 15 psi with an ATI balancer as well on top of 3rd down the strip. I didn't check for interference during install, so probably didn't fully seated before reaching torque value (Judging from a picture of my belt.)
Now I have a...
Interesting!
I'm running 1 3/4" LTH with a Corsa 3" double x necking down (2.25") to stock pipes with GT500's mufflers.
At 15 psi (3.25" on a gen 2), I'm not getting the results I expected.
Increasing boost will probably put me on the border line level to experience head lift (stock head...
I got the MFP on my setup and didn't though about it affecting fuel trims. Have this been confirmed on data logs? It seems like a great way to mitigate heat conductivity as mentioned and goggle searched for info on spacers and trims on any platform but didn't found anything, although it makes...
I have an Auto and the biggest difference I noticed was on the transmission tuning and torque management.
0.4 sec improvement on the 1/4 mile on the same pulley and gas.
I have been debating the same for some time now.
Since there is no pump E85 here in Puerto Rico, I either run race gas or Race E85, yet everybody here is going for the E.
I got 22 degrees of timing from MS109 and cost me $90 (5 gallons)
C85 would cost me $70 (5 gallons ) so roughly the same as...
