I know this is old thread, but want to comment on fuel heating.
If your 3 pumps in the surge tank are running at full speed all the time then you are definitely heating your fuel. And your setup is best for drag racing and not good for daily or road course.

I haul my 3,700lbs Mustang with a 3.5 ecoboost F150 and have had zero issues. It pulls along at 85mph no problem. I donāt carry anything extra on the trailer, everything is in the back of my F150. Iām sure you could add a tire rack to the trailer without any issues.

I think the holdup is figuring out how to control the gearbox. Iām not aware of any aftermarket controllers that would work with the stock ecu. You could probably go custom Motec but now $$$$ cost is getting serious š¤£š
