  1. At the pumps... How do you all handle people asking you for gas money/gas up their car?

I just say no. Or I say “I’ll give you a job” and of course that gets a deer in the headlights look.
  2. Better method for tightening strut nut

This also depends on what you are using for a strut nut. For example, Vorshlag plates don't use a nylock nut. Run em down with an impact till they stop with tome loc-tite. I put cross check on the nut which will indicate if it's backing off.
  3. An idea of how big our cars are.

I am repeatedly reminded of how large the Mustang is when I run autocross courses designed for BRZs and Miatas :cwl:
  4. going Supercharged

OPGs aren't necessary. Tons of cars running around with out em including mine, boosted since 2018. Stay off the limiter and it's not an issue.
  5. THERAPY: My 2017 GT "project" car.

Photos from the last autocross event. Was a doubleheader with event #1 on Saturday, and event #2 on Sunday. They simply changed the gates and the course was run in the opposite direction the second day.
  6. THERAPY: My 2017 GT "project" car.

Thanks, yeah it is tempting to throw them on, but the car has been aligned and I'm too cheap to pay for it... again. Plus then it will need to be done AGAIN next spring, after I add the other things in the rear that I am planning on doing. I'll just toss them on the shelf and forget about...
  7. Supercharging fact and fiction help me clear up my worries

Well, it basically will, without the supporting mods. Mainly cooling. You'll want to ditch the factory cats for extended track work too. Overheat and melt them, and you run a pretty high risk of damaging the engine. Street car? Go nuts. I have had no issues in about 10K miles(I have a...
  8. THERAPY: My 2017 GT "project" car.

Grabbed these BMR toe links off Facebook. $100, unused. Pretty good steal! Will go into my parts stack for the winter.
  9. THERAPY: My 2017 GT "project" car.

Not much doing so far. Been to a couple more autocross events, just continuing to learn the car.
  10. Best oil transmission for MT82

I have used the BG since early on, works well, smoothed the transmssion out quite a bit.
  11. THERAPY: My 2017 GT "project" car.

Spent the day autocrosong and you really don’t notice them… Starting to learn to manage the power better. Took slightly more than 5 seconds off my time throughout the 6 runs we had today. Starts are still problematic though. I’d use traction control but there’s no way to turn off stability...
  12. THERAPY: My 2017 GT "project" car.

I’ve always disliked the aesthetics of mudflaps and this is no exception, but it’s clear that the wider tires are beating up my rockers. Rokbloxz are a nice product. Fit is good and the hardware is nice. I will probably leave the rears off as I have PPF on the lower rear quarters.
