This also depends on what you are using for a strut nut.
For example, Vorshlag plates don't use a nylock nut. Run em down with an impact till they stop with tome loc-tite. I put cross check on the nut which will indicate if it's backing off.

I’ve always disliked the aesthetics of mudflaps and this is no exception, but it’s clear that the wider tires are beating up my rockers.
