I've begun to "see" all the requirements of clocking & making a car work properly is just too complicated, wish I never sold my 14 V6!!!!!!!

Like that solid rear axle didn't have all sorts of things it needed to be remotely decent

I had done most of the live axle, except for a 4-link watts. I hear you Bmac.

This may be a dumb question but I don't know so I will ask...can this be done one bolt at a time? Meaning, have it on all 4 wheels, loosen one bolt, tighten, move to the next...or do you loosen all of them at once, then tighten?

It can be done one corner at a time. Make sure to jounce the body after loosening and before tightening back up.

So how did you guys manage to fit a torque wrench in on these bolts?
Pretty damn tight fit while the wheels are on.

Most drop the exhaust. You really need to be on a lift or have very tall ramps.

I had it up on a lift and still could only get at 2 bolts on each side.
Might end up paying to get it done after I get it back from having the latest CEL looked at.

thanks , so loosen all bolts on one side , then retighten or loosen one bolt at a time then retighten on one side. You post say jounce, is that bounce......
Yep. Loosen everything for a corner. Jounce/bounce that corner to ensure that everything takes a new set at the new ride height, then tighten everything.

Is it possible to get to the lower control arm bolts without damaging the steering rack boot? Don't know about the S550, but I tore one of my rack and pinion boots on my SN95 with my wrench while trying to loosen/tighten my passenger side LCA. Not enough clearance between the rack and bolt head to get a 1/2" ratchet + socket.

Yes, they're easily accessible.

I'll likely be doing my spring swap this weekend and will hopefully be able to use the drive on lift at the shop to be able to clock the bushings. How do I jounce/bounce the corner? Not familiar with the meaning...
