I have the exact setup you are talking about and drive about 3 to 5k a year. Sitting at ~700whp and the 555r are great in warm weather above 50mph. Cold weather or below 50 and they won't hold. I dont drive in the rain with this car so I cant speak to how they handle in the water. Roll races they are great and at about 5k on them they look like they will last at least another 5k. That's with a couple of trips to the track as well.

I use the same setup. 555R with tread are doable in the rain if you get caught (drive slower and don't be a retard), far better than NT05R, which I had as well. As has been said, with 750+ wheel they will hold 2nd in warm weather, hot road. They are the best option for a street tire for cost vs performance IMO.

Same setup here as well, 305/35/20 555R. Car is 625-650 wheel and the tires perform excellent. Best all around radial for street use IMO. For track or really high HP applications I'd look to the E/T Street.

Those tires should work fine under 750 whp. I have the nt05R and survived more than once in the rain, just don't give it more than 20% throttle. They've lasted over 7k miles too with not much wear still, so the 555R should last longer. However, I still haven't done even one burnout on them, so the tread wear will be dependent on that. Hooks from 2nd gear 3.55 ratio around 700 whp.
