Is this what I want? https://rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?mpre=https://www.ebay.com/ulk/itm/312063378167Yeah a thin 5mm slip on spacer can be used with stock studs and just gets sandwiched between the wheel and hub, but if you go any thicker than 5mm, you either have to get extended studs installed, or you have to jump to like 20-25mm with a bolt on spacer. The bolt on spacers suck because now you have 10 fasteners per wheel to deal with.
Find a 5mm spacer that is hubcentric (i.e. sized to fit our hub centering rings). Don't get a generic one, they're a PITA. You can find hubcentric ones in a few spots, I think I got mine on ebay.
I paid 380 shipped for. Mine back in March. And as soon as my tires need to be replaced I will be going to a square set up with 285-40's all with way around. At this point I am leaning toward the AS3's. Oh, one of the old fronts will become a spare and I will be selling the other to. I just ordered the rims, 2x OEM PP1 19x9.5 for $525 shipped (sounded like a good price?).
Those spacers aren't the best to use and can cause some issues. The best way to run a spacer is to install extended wheel studs and use a pass-through/slide on spacer. Something like this:http://www.opmustang.com/store/p84/..._-_Pair_OUT_OF_STOCK_UNTIL_AUGUST_15th.html#/
Were they unused OEM? I saw look-a-likes for less but not the OEM.I paid 380 shipped for. Mine back in March. Unfortunately those are out of stock and I cannot wait a month as I don’t want a huge difference in mileage on the tires. Those spacers aren't the best to use and can cause some issues. They are OEM. They are from a salvaged 2016 PP1 GT. The seller listed only one of them so I contacted him about the other one. after a short time he agreed to sell me both of the rears, (I didnt want the fronts)
Ah, gotcha, nice find! These were new/unused, all the used ones I could find on eBay either came with all 4 rims or were beat up. :(They are OEM. They are from a salvaged 2016 PP1 GT. Would that be for any 19x9.5 up front? Or if you have the proper offset it shouldn't be an issue?Yes, you need a 5mm spacer at minimum
Anybody? I was told the ones I linked to earlier were not proper and do not want to have axel/bearing issues. The information on what to use via google is all over the darn place.Could someone please link me to the proper spacers or whatever I’ll need (that are in stock )? I’ve never done this before and don’t want problems diwn the road. I’m having the dealership do the actual install as they’re heavily discounting the two 275/40-19 AS3s for me, and I’m unsure if I should trust whatever spacers they’d use on their own... plus, I’m beyond confused now.
